- Begin your day with a visit to Jaffa, mentioned in the biblical story of Jonah and the Whale, and learn why it is so historically important. See how its Old City reflects the present as well as the past.
- Walk along the newly opened Independence Trail in Tel Aviv and embark on a remarkable journey that begins with the founding of Tel Aviv in 1909 and ends with the establishment of Israel in 1948.
- Explore the city of Tel Aviv as part of a special family scavenger hunt.
- Browse your way through Nahalat Binyamin, Tel Aviv’s arts and crafts market.
- Kabbalat Shabbat services at Kehillat Yozma in Modi’in, led by Rabbi Nir Barkin.
- Enjoy a home hospitality Shabbat dinner.
- Visit the Ayalon Institute near Rehovot and uncover its role in the establishment of the State of Israel. This secret ammunition factory produced millions of bullets for Jewish forces fighting for a Jewish state and the end of British rule over Palestine.
- Pay tribute to the men and women of Israel's armored division at the Armored Corps Memorial and Museum in Latrun.
- Visit the ANU – Museum of the Jewish People, the largest Jewish museum in the world, and join a fascinating journey that portrays the story of the Jewish people through the generations and up to the present time.
- Havdalah and night out in Tel Aviv.

- Pick your way to a better world as we join the volunteer organization Leket Israel for a hands-on Tikkun Olam activity. We'll be harvesting fruits and vegetables that will be donated to the needy.
- Get in touch with the land and history of Israel during an archaeological dig at the Beit Guvrin Caves.
- Accompanied by Bedouin guides, take a camel for a test drive as you ride into the heart of the Kanaim Valley. Guests are treated like royalty in desert societies.
- Our traditional “hafla” dinner will begin with Arab salads, thick tahini, spicy matbucha, and more. The main dish will be meat accompanied by Bedouin-style pita bread and mansaf, stuffed vegetables with yellow rice and lentils. Bedouin tea and coffee will come with the Middle East’s favorite dessert, baklawa, and seasonal fruit.
- Check into the hotel.
- Climb via the Snake Path OR take the cable car to the top of Masada with its extraordinary views and fascinating archaeological remains. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is where Jewish rebels are believed to have made their final attempt to resist Roman invaders (c 74 CE).
- Float into happiness at the Dead Sea.
- Hike in Nahal David, part of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. This is a desert oasis with springs, waterfalls, and freshwater pools, and is named after the biblical David, who fled here to escape from the murderous King Saul.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.

- Drive to Jerusalem.
- Drive into the desert with a jeep tour of the Judean Desert. We'll gaze upon the Dead Sea basin, race past ancient fortifications and mighty canyons, and hear stories and explanations of the desert and its astonishing natural features.
- Over the centuries, many have been moved and awed by their first sight of Jerusalem. We'll stop at the Haas Promenade for a stunning overview of the city and celebrate our arrival with a special ceremony and the traditional “shehechiyanu” blessing of thanksgiving.
- Check into the hotel.
- Participate in an invigorating and fun dance session with Dance Israel, a unique initiative that offers exciting educational encounters and multi-faceted experiences through Jewish and Israeli folk dance.
- Adults & Older Youth: Visit Yad Vashem, the national memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust, an essential emotional and educational experience.
- Option for Younger Youth: Explore the Biblical Zoo, with its 62 acres and special focus on creatures mentioned in the Bible.
- Drive through Israel’s “Capitol Hill” and see the Knesset along with its famous Menorah, the Supreme Court Building, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Israeli National Bank, and the future site of the Israel National Library.
- Meet and participate in a Krav Maga session with members of Eitan-Everybody Can!, an organization that helps people with special needs achieve feats they never thought possible.
- B'nei Mitzvah Ceremony at HUC.
- Take a multicultural tasting journey through the hustle and bustle of Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda open-air market. This doubles as a delicious lunch.
- Take a journey through the courtyards of Nahlaot, where dozens of synagogues and Jewish traditions from around the world are maintained within a radius of just a few blocks.
- Return to the hotel.
- Walk along the rooftops of the Old City for a behind-the-scenes look at the various communities in Jerusalem, and how they live alongside each other.
- Visit the Cardo, the main street of Jerusalem in the 6th century.
- Walk through the Hurva Square, the central square of the Jewish Quarter.
- Explore the Jerusalem Archaeological Park, including the Davidson Center, Robinson’s Arch, and the Southern Wall steps where Jewish pilgrims entered the Temple Mount 2,000 years ago.
- Stop at the Kotel (Western Wall) and experience the special atmosphere of this holy site and then tour the Western Wall Tunnel, the underground continuation of the Temple Mount’s Western Wall.
- Return to the hotel with time to prepare for Shabbat.
- Kabbalat Shabbat followed by Shabbat dinner.
- Head to the Old City Ramparts for a stroll along its ancient walls.
- Visit the Tower of David Museum for a walk through the city’s history – with observation points, an animated film, and visual and audio-visual aids – from the time of Abraham to the end of the British Mandate over Palestine.
OR - Explore the renewed and wonderfully creative Israel Museum, with its eclectic collection, ranging from archaeology and the Dead Sea Scrolls to Jewish life and art, European art, contemporary Israeli art, and the open-air model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple period.

- 9 nights' accommodations. Late check out on the day of departure is included.
- 10 days of touring with a tour educator (guide), 10 days of touring in a luxury, air-conditioned bus.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
