TRAVEL WARDROBE
- Year Round: Comfortable walking shoes, sneakers, and sandals, depending on the period of the year.
- Fall & winter – late September to late March: Fall and winter weather ranges from chilly to downright cold. At this time of year, rain and even snowfall are common as well. Keep warm and dry by packing a heavy coat, raincoat, thick socks, a hat, boots, gloves, and an umbrella.. Bring sweaters and tops that can be easily layered for wearing underneath and a pair of leggings or thermals.
- Spring & summer - April to early September: Pack light clothes for easy layering for spring weather. For warmer summer days, bring light loose-fitting, lightweight clothes (ideally cotton and linen) such as skirts and T-shirts, as well as sunglasses and a hat. Be sure to pack a light coat, pants, and long-sleeve tops for the cool evenings. Rain can always surprise you, so bring an umbrella and a pair of waterproof shoes.
