DISCOVERING CASABLANCA AND A TASTE OF MOROCCO

- Meet your J² Expert Educator and local Moroccan tour guide, who will accompany us on this unforgettable experience, and begin exploring the bustling streets of Casablanca, a city rich in history and diversity.
- Visit key sites, including:
- A local church, showcasing Morocco’s commitment to religious coexistence.
- The main square, where past and present merge seamlessly.
- The site of the Casablanca Conference, where world leaders gathered in 1943 to shape history.
- The legendary Rick's Café, bringing the magic of Hollywood’s classic film Casablanca to life.
- Visit to one of Morocco’s architectural marvels: The Hassan II Mosque, an awe-inspiring structure built over the Atlantic Ocean. With its intricate tilework and towering minaret, it’s one of the largest and most breathtaking mosques in the world.
- Stroll along the Corniche, the city's picturesque seaside boardwalk. Enjoy lunch on your own at one of the many charming cafés overlooking the ocean.
- Visit the historic Beth-El Synagogue, Casablanca’s active Jewish center, where we’ll reflect on the resilience of Jewish life in Morocco.
- Have a meaningful dialogue with a young leader from Association Mimouna, a Muslim organization dedicated to preserving Jewish heritage in Morocco and promoting Jewish-Muslim friendship.

JOURNEY INTO THE ATLAS MOUNTAINS AND BERBER HOSPITALITY

- Begin the day with a scenic drive through the lush Sidi Abdellah Ghiat and Oued Maleh valleys, heading toward the majestic Atlas Mountains.
- Stop at the grave of Rabbi Shlomo BelHench, a revered Jewish saint known as the “Son of the Snake,” and hear the legends surrounding his life and legacy.
- Continue to a traditional Berber village nestled in the mountains, where you will be welcomed by the village chief and local musicians, offering you a warm taste of Berber hospitality.
- Enjoy a home-cooked lunch in the village, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, while learning about Berber culture and traditions from the chief.
- Meet with inhabitants of the village—from the skilled weaving artisans to the village children.
- Participate in a bread-making workshop, gaining hands-on experience with traditional Berber baking techniques.
- Return to Marrakech for an evening at leisure.

WHERE CULTURES MEET: A DAY IN THE MELLAH

- Explore the Jewish Cemetery, where many of Morocco’s most prominent Jewish figures are laid to rest.
- Tzedakah: Help in maintaining the Marrakech Jewish Cemetery by painting graves.
- Free time to relax and prepare for a special Shabbat experience.
- Kabbalat Shabbat services at the Beth El Synagogue, where we will celebrate Shabbat with the local Jewish community.
- Festive Shabbat dinner at a local kosher restaurant, enriched by the warm spirit of Moroccan tradition—local guests will sing beloved Shabbat and Moroccan melodies, creating an atmosphere of joy, connection, and cultural celebration.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
