DAY 1
TO MARRAKECH
Sun. Feb 7, 2027
  • Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Marrakech.
  • Recommended flight connecting through Lisbon (not included in the package price):
    • TP 1939 | 07 Feb | Porto - Lisbon 07:00 a.m. - 07:55 a.m.
    • TP 1452 | 07 Feb | Lisbon – Marrakech 09:15 a.m. - 11:55 a.m.
  • Arrive in Marrakech - the city of vibrant colors, exotic souks, and legendary history. Meet your local Moroccan guide and begin with a panoramic introduction to this mesmerizing city, where tradition and modernity blend seamlessly.
  • Visit the Majorelle Garden, an oasis of exotic plants and striking cobalt-blue architecture once owned by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. Continue to the Berber Museum, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Morocco’s indigenous Berber people.
  • Check into your hotel.
  • This evening, enjoy a fresh Moroccan dinner at a local restaurant, along with an overview of the program.

DAY 2
THE RED CITY OF MARRAKECH
Mon. Feb 8, 2027
  • Begin the day with a guided tour of the Medina of Marrakech - the vibrant heart of the city - filled with markets, historic sites, and winding alleyways.
  • Visit Dar El Bacha Palace, an architectural gem reflecting the splendor of Morocco’s royal past. Continue to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, one of Morocco’s most beautiful historic sites, renowned for its intricate tilework and exquisite design.
  • Enjoy free time to explore Marrakech at your leisure, soaking in the sights, sounds, and culture of this magical city.
  • In the evening, experience Djemaa el-Fna Square as it comes alive, with locals and visitors gathering to eat, exchange stories, and enjoy live performances.
  • See Djemaa El Fna Square come to life at night as locals and tourists alike gather to eat, exchange stories, play, and listen to live music.

DAY 3
WHERE CULTURES MEET: A DAY IN THE MELLAH
Tue. Feb 9, 2027
  • Explore the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter of Marrakech, home to synagogues and significant heritage sites.
  • Visit the Slat el Azama Synagogue, an active place of worship with deep historical significance for the local Jewish community. Continue to the Jewish Cemetery, the resting place of many of Morocco’s most prominent Jewish figures.
  • Participate in an interactive Moroccan cooking class, where you will learn to prepare a traditional tagine. Enjoy the fruits of your labor over lunch.
  • In the afternoon, enjoy free time to browse the markets or unwind at a traditional hammam - an essential Moroccan experience.
  • Afterwards, enjoy free time to wander the city’s markets, or relax at a traditional hammam, a quintessential Moroccan experience.

DAY 4
ATLAS MOUNTAINS & BERBER HOSPITALITY
Wed. Feb 10, 2027
  • Depart Marrakech for a scenic drive through the lush Sidi Abdellah Ghiat and Oued Maleh valleys en route to the Atlas Mountains.
  • Stop at the grave of Rabbi Shlomo Belhench, a revered Jewish saint known as the “Son of the Snake,” and hear the legends surrounding his life and legacy.
  • Continue to a traditional Berber village nestled in the mountains, where you will be welcomed by the village chief and local musicians. Experience authentic Berber hospitality and enjoy a home-cooked lunch featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, while learning about local traditions and daily life.
  • Visit a local school to engage with students and gain insight into regional educational practices.
  • Return to Marrakech for a festive farewell dinner at a Moroccan palace, accompanied by live music.

DAY 5
FAREWELL, MOROCCO: UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

    • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
    • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required in order to complete the registration process.

  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 130 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
    • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 130 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 129 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
    • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
