  • Arrive at Ben-Gurion International Airport and meet your J² Expert Educator, who will accompany your group on an exciting journey filled with learning, exploration, and inspiration across Israel.
  • Transfer together to Tel Aviv, Israel’s vibrant “city that never sleeps,” where sun, culture, and history meet along lively beaches, bustling markets, and endless opportunities for fun and connection.
  • Begin your Israeli adventure at the Jaffa Lookout, taking in sweeping views of Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean as you get your first glimpse of the journey that awaits.
  • Enjoy a flavorful lunch at Dr. Shakshuka, a local Jaffa restaurant where sizzling pans of this classic Israeli dish capture the warmth and spice of local life.
  • Tour Jaffa and its vibrant Flea Market, where thousands of years of history meet the sounds, scents, and style of modern Israeli life.

THE DEAD SEA BASIN

  • Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore the breathtaking landscapes and natural wonders of the Dead Sea region.
  • Descend to the Dead Sea Basin, the lowest point on earth at 1,412 feet below sea level, and marvel at this one-of-a-kind natural wonder.
  • Ascend Masada, a UNESCO World Heritage site, by cable car or the Snake Path, and uncover the story of the Jewish rebels’ heroic final stand against the Romans in 74 CE while soaking in the awe-inspiring desert vistas.
  • Enjoy lunch at Masada.
  • Experience the joy of floating effortlessly in the Dead Sea, the saltiest body of water in the world at nine times the ocean’s salt, and feel the unique thrill of weightless fun in this extraordinary natural wonder.

  • Wander through Nahalat Binyamin, a vibrant arts and crafts market, and discover unique handmade jewelry, textiles, and artworks that capture the creativity of Tel Aviv.
  • Explore the lively Carmel Market, one of Tel Aviv’s most famous spots, and savor a pizur lunch while surrounded by colorful produce, local treasures, and a delicious mix of Israeli and international flavors.
  • Together with teens from Kehillat Yozma, visit Neot Kedumim, a 625-acre biblical landscape reserve nestled in the Judean foothills. Step into the world of our ancestors as you engage in a hands-on goat and sheep herding activity designed to explore leadership, communication, and teamwork. Through shared challenges and reflection, you’ll connect with the land, one another, and the timeless lessons of responsibility and cooperation that continue to shape Jewish life today.

DAY 5
REDEMPTION AND RELIEF

  • Travel south to the Gaza Envelope region and gain a deeper understanding of the realities and resilience of communities in the aftermath of October 7.
  • Walk through Kibbutz Nir Oz on Israel’s border with the Gaza Strip and hear firsthand from a resident about the impact of the October 7th attack and the community’s ongoing efforts to rebuild and recover.
  • Continue to Sderot, a city on Israel’s border with Gaza, where you can enjoy a pizur lunch and connect with locals to witness the strength and perseverance of a community shaped by the events of the last two years.
  • Visit the memorial site of the Nova Festival at Kibbutz Re’im and reflect on the tragic attack that transformed a weekend of celebration into loss, honoring the space of remembrance and the hopeful promise: “We Will Dance Again.”
  • Meet a desert agronomist and explore the Salad Trail, a hands-on adventure on a northern Negev farm where innovative agriculture brings growth, flavor, and environmental vision to the desert.
  • Return to Tel Aviv for dinner and take time with your tour leader and educator to reflect, process, and share insights from a day of powerful experiences.

CELEBRATING IN JERUSALEM

  • Depart for Jerusalem and begin your journey through the city at the heart of Jewish history, culture, and spirituality.
  • Start your journey in the City of David, tracing the footsteps of ancient Jerusalem as you wade through Hezekiah’s 2,700-year-old water tunnel and emerge into the Old City of Jerusalem.
  • Experience the Western Wall, Judaism’s holiest place, where over a million notes filled with prayers and wishes are tucked into its cracks, and explore its historical and contemporary significance while soaking in its unique atmosphere.
  • Venture into the Western Wall Tunnel, an underground extension of the Kotel, and discover archaeological treasures that reveal new insights into daily life in ancient Jerusalem.
  • Take a walking tour through Jerusalem’s Old City and the Jewish Quarter and experience the center of Jewish life, history, and holiness. Among the highlights will be:
    • A walk along the rooftops that will provide an extraordinary scene of multi-faith Jerusalem. From this one spot, we will see the domes of three great religious landmarks: The Church of the Holy Sepulchre (marking where Jesus is believed to have been crucified); the Jewish Quarter’s Hurva synagogue; and the Dome of the Rock, one of Islam’s most sacred and beautiful sites.
    • The Cardo, the main street of Roman-controlled Jerusalem and its spectacular Byzantine-era columns.
    • King Hezekiah’s “Broad Wall”, a massive wall built to protect Jerusalem from invasion 2,700 years ago.
  • Enjoy dinner and wander through the bustling Mahane Yehuda Market, immersing yourself in the vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors of Jerusalem’s diverse culinary scene.

  • Shabbat Shalom! Welcome the day of rest with Kabbalat Shabbat services at Kehillat Yozma, led by Rabbi Nir Barkin.

  • Side-by-Side Coexistence in Jaffa: Explore the city through the perspectives of a Zionist Jew and a Palestinian Arab, learning about its layered history, current challenges, and the possibilities for peace and coexistence with Beit Daniel staff.
  • Enjoy a pizur lunch and savor your final tastes of local flavors.
  • Discover the vibrancy of Jewish life at the newly opened ANU - Museum of the Jewish People, where stories of diverse communities across time come alive through culture, art, and history.

  • US and foreign airport taxes, Q fuel surcharge and border taxes when applicable.
  • Value Added Tax is currently not applicable to tourists visiting Israel. Should the law change, you will be notified accordingly, and VAT will be added to your final invoice.

  • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
  • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.

  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 55 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
  • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
