Program Itinerary

DAY 1
TAKING IT IN
Sat. May 30, 2026
  • After a meaningful journey with the group, take a moment to soak up your final evening in Tel Aviv. Perhaps wander along the Mediterranean promenade, or grab a drink at one of the city’s trendy beachside cafes. Reflect on the week behind you — and the adventure still ahead.
Overnight: Tel Aviv
DAY 2
TO THE CITY OF GOLD
Sun. May 31, 2026
  • This morning, check out of your Tel Aviv hotel and head east to one of the most iconic and spiritually resonant cities on Earth: Jerusalem — the eternal City of Gold.
  • We’ll begin by exploring the Old City and the fascinating Jewish Quarter. Prepare to be transported through thousands of years of history as we walk ancient alleyways filled with stories, symbols, and secrets.
  • Highlights include:
    • A climb to the rooftops, where breathtaking panoramic views stretch across the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the radiant golden Dome of the Rock, and the beautifully restored Hurva Synagogue. You’ll feel history layered beneath your feet.
    • The Cardo, once the bustling Roman main street, lined with original columns from the Byzantine era. It’s like walking through time.
    • Hezekiah’s Broad Wall, a massive defensive wall from the First Temple period, built nearly 2,700 years ago to protect Jerusalem from Assyrian invaders.
    • Hurva Square, the heart of today’s Jewish Quarter, alive with local shops, cafes, and street musicians—a perfect spot to grab a bite or souvenir.
    • The Southern Wall Excavations and Robinson’s Arch, remnants of the ancient Temple Mount.
    • Azrat Yisrael, a special space along the Western Wall offering a more inclusive and pluralistic prayer experience.
  • Then, of course, a visit to the Kotel (Western Wall) — a deeply emotional and spiritual highlight for many. As we touch the stones worn smooth by centuries of prayers, we’ll discuss the Wall’s layered significance in Jewish history and life today.
  • We’ll also go underground into the Western Wall Tunnel, a fascinating journey revealing the hidden layers beneath the surface of the Old City.
  • Later, we’ll check into our hotel and cap the day with a night out in Jerusalem. Whether it's dinner in the buzzing Mahane Yehuda Market or live music in the city’s charming alleyways, Jerusalem comes alive at night.
Overnight: Jerusalem Meals: Breakfast
DAY 3
DEAD SEA BASIN
Mon. Jun 1, 2026
  • Get ready for a dramatic change in landscape as we descend into the Judean Desert and head to the lowest place on Earth — the Dead Sea Basin.
  • First stop: the majestic fortress of Masada. We’ll take a cable car to the top and explore this mountaintop stronghold where Jewish rebels made their legendary last stand against Rome. The views of the desert and Dead Sea below are nothing short of spectacular.
  • We’ll continue to Ein Gedi, a lush desert oasis where waterfalls tumble through rocky canyons. We’ll walk the nature trails and visit the remains of a 1,500-year-old synagogue whose mysterious mosaic inscription hints at the wealth and spiritual power of this ancient community.
  • Next, we’ll float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea — an otherworldly and unforgettable experience. Don’t forget to slather on the famous mud!
  • Return to Jerusalem for a well-earned rest.
