DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN ISRAEL: WELCOMING SHABBAT IN JERUSALEM
Fri. Feb 12, 2027
- Arrival at Ben-Gurion International Airport and meeting with the J² Expert Educator, who will guide and inspire throughout the experience.
- A stop at the Haas Promenade offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Jerusalem. The traditional Shehechiyanu blessing of gratitude is recited together, marking the joy of arriving in the Land of Israel.
- Check into the Jerusalem hotel and prepare for a meaningful Kabbalat Shabbat service, followed by a festive Shabbat dinner shared in community.

DAY 2
LAYERS OF JERUSALEM: FAITHS, STORIES, AND SPIRIT
Sat. Feb 13, 2027
- Experience the peace of Shabbat in Jerusalem. Ascend to the city’s rooftops, where the domes and spires of three great faiths rise side by side: the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the golden Dome of the Rock, and the iconic Hurva Synagogue.
- Explore the Old City, its four quarters, and the living layers of history within its walls. Stand at the Kotel (Western Wall), Judaism’s holiest site, and follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, connecting with centuries of faith and devotion.
- As Shabbat ends, join in a communal Havdalah ceremony, with its fragrant spices and uplifting melodies, before discovering Jerusalem by night at the Mamilla Mall, the First Station, and the lively pedestrian promenades of Ben Yehuda and Nahalat Shiva.

DESERT MAJESTY: MASADA AND THE DEAD SEA
Sun. Feb 14, 2027
- Descend through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea Basin, where the stark beauty of the landscape meets ancient heroism. Take the cable car to the top of Masada, the mountain fortress where Jewish rebels made their final stand against Rome, a story of courage, faith, and freedom that continues to inspire.
- Later, float effortlessly in the buoyant waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, and enjoy this unique natural wonder.
- Return to Jerusalem in the evening for an optional Western Wall Tunnels tour, revealing the hidden layers beneath the ancient city.

DAY 4
MEMORY, RESILIENCE, AND RENEWAL
Mon. Feb 15, 2027
- Adults and Older Youth visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s national memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. The visit includes the Avenue of the Righteous, the Historical Museum, and the Children’s Memorial, concluding with a memorial service honoring those who perished.
- Younger Kids enjoy a visit to Jerusalem’s Biblical Zoo or the Bloomfield Science Museum, where learning is brought to life through creativity and discovery.
- Reunite at the bustling Mahane Yehuda Market, filled with color, flavor, and the vibrant pulse of Jerusalem life.
- In the afternoon, Adults and Older Youth visit one of the revived communities near the Gaza Envelope, witnessing firsthand the strength and resilience of its residents after the events of October 7.
- Younger Kids take part in an interactive archaeological dig at the Beit Guvrin Caves, bringing ancient history to life through hands-on exploration.
- Return to Jerusalem for an evening of rest and reflection.

HANDS AND HEARTS: CONNECTING WITH THE LAND
Tue. Feb 16, 2027
- Check out of the hotel and begin the journey north. The day begins with volunteer work at Leket Israel, harvesting fruits and vegetables for distribution to families in need, embodying the spirit of tikkun olam.
- Continue to the ancient port city of Caesarea, once a jewel of the Roman Empire. Walk among the ruins of its amphitheater and aqueduct, where history meets the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean.
- In the evening, arrive in the Galilee and enjoy the hospitality of an Israeli Arab family during a GalilEat cooking workshop. Share stories over tea and coffee, then prepare and enjoy a traditional meal together, celebrating connection and shared culture.

THE POWER AND BEAUTY OF THE NORTH
Wed. Feb 17, 2027
- Enjoy a serene hike through the Tel Dan Nature Reserve, where ancient ruins and natural springs coexist in harmony.
- Travel through the breathtaking landscapes of northern Israel. From the summit of Mount Bental, view the Golan Heights and beyond into Syria, gaining insight into Israel’s complex security landscape.
- Adults visit the Odem Mountain Winery, located at the foot of Mount Hermon, for a guided wine tasting.
- Kids visit the Odem Freedom Farm, a rehabilitation and educational center for rescued animals, where they meet the farm’s residents and learn about compassion and care for all living creatures.
- Return to the hotel for an evening of relaxation and dinner.

- Continue to Tel Aviv, Israel’s dynamic coastal city. Stop at the Jaffa lookout for panoramic views and a photo opportunity before checking into the hotel.

- In the afternoon, travel to Kehillat Yozma in Modi’in for Kabbalat Shabbat services, led by Rabbi Nir Barkin, and join local families in song and celebration.

- As Shabbat ends, gather for a Havdalah ceremony, followed by a farewell dinner at a local restaurant, celebrating the journey shared and the bonds formed.
- Late check-out and group transfer to the airport for the overnight flight home.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
