- Welcome to Israel! Meet your J² Expert Educator who will accompany you on this journey of education and inspiration.
- Stop at the Haas Promenade for a traditional “shehechiyanu” blessing of thanksgiving.
- Check into your hotel and prepare for Shabbat.
- Kabbalat Shabbat with your community followed by a festive Shabbat dinner at the hotel.
- Ascend to the historic fortress of Masada. Experience a bird's-eye view of the desert landscape by boarding the cable car, which effortlessly transports you to the summit while providing panoramic vistas of the surrounding terrain. Your journey to Masada promises a memorable encounter with one of Israel's most iconic archaeological sites, steeped in rich history and breathtaking scenery.
- Hike in Nahal David, part of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.
- Float into happiness on the Dead Sea where the feeling of weightlessness is great fun.
- Return to the hotel.
- Havdalah overlooking the Old City.
- ADULTS & TEENS: Visit Yad Vashem, the national memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Your guided tour will include:
- The Historical Museum.
- The Avenue of the Righteous.
- CHILDREN: Visit Jerusalem’s Biblical Zoo.
- Experience the sights, smells, and tastes of Jerusalem while walking through the Mahane Yehuda open-air market.
- Drive south to the Gaza Envelope.
- ADULTS & TEENS: Visit a memorial site of the October 7 massacre.
- CHILDREN: Walk along your way to experience "darom adom," and see kaleniyot flowers in bloom.
- Return to Jerusalem.

- B'nai Mitzvah ceremony overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem.
- Take a walking tour through Jerusalem’s Old City and the Jewish Quarter and experience the center of Jewish life, history, and holiness. Among the highlights will be:
- Hurva Square, the center of modern-day life in the Jewish Quarter.
- The Kotel (Western Wall), widely considered Judaism’s holiest site. We’ll discuss the wall’s historical and contemporary importance and experience its unique atmosphere.
- Explore the Western Wall Tunnel, the underground continuation of the Kotel, and examine important archaeological discoveries that are revising our understanding of daily life in ancient Jerusalem.
- Walk along the streets of the Old City for a behind-the-scenes look at the various Jerusalem communities:
- Visit the Old City Shuk (market) in the Christian quarter for lunch.
- Our exploration of the Christian Quarter will include following the Via Dolorosa, the path Jesus is believed to have taken when he walked, holding a cross, to the crucifixion. At the end of the Via Dolorosa is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the place where Jesus is said to have been crucified.
- Climb to the top of the Tower of David Citadel for a spectacular view of the Old City. From this one spot, we’ll look out over the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, venerated by Christian groups as the burial place of Jesus; the golden Dome of the Rock, which is sacred to Islam; and the Jewish Quarter’s famous Hurva Synagogue.

- Drive north through the Jordan Valley towards the Galilee.
- Visit the Kinneret Cemetery where iconic Zionist figures are buried.
- Visit Capernaum on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.
- Experience the thrill of rafting or kayaking down the scenic Jordan River (weather permitting) or cruise across the tranquil waters of the Sea of Galilee, soaking in its biblical significance and stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
- Check into hotel and have dinner.
- Embark on a scenic hike through Tel Dan Nature Reserve, a lush oasis rich in history and natural beauty. Explore ancient ruins, meander along tranquil streams, and immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of this captivating destination.
- From Mount Bental's summit, peer into Syria, gaining insight into Israel's geopolitical and security situation. It's a powerful view that offers valuable perspective on regional dynamics.
- ADULTS: Visit the Odem Mountain Winery at the foot of Mt. Hermon on the Golan Heights for wine tasting.
- TEENS & CHILDREN: The Odem Freedom Farm is a rehabilitation center and educational project aimed at creating a change of consciousness in the way humans view the earth, animals, and, just as importantly – themselves. Hear about their work and participate in a hands-on encounter with the animal residents of the farm including horses, pigs, birds, and even wolves.
- Enjoy a Jeep tour of the Golan Heights.
- Return to the hotel for dinner.
- Check out of the hotel and head south.
- Join Leket Israel to volunteer in harvesting fruits and vegetables for those in need. Make a direct impact in fighting food insecurity while experiencing the importance of food rescue initiatives firsthand.
- ADULTS: Dialogue with Mohammed Darawshe, Director of Planning, Equality & Shared Society at the Givat Haviva Center.
- TEENS & CHILDREN: Visit the Givat Haviva International School, where high school students from around the world are taught leadership skills in order to work together to create a strong shared society and a sustainable just future.
- Embark on a guided tour of Caesarea, an ancient city steeped in history. Explore its well-preserved ruins, including an amphitheater and aqueduct, and learn about its significance as a cultural and trade hub.
- Check into the hotel.
- Walk along Independence Trail in Tel Aviv and embark on a remarkable journey that begins with the founding of Tel Aviv in 1909 and ends with the establishment of Israel in 1948.
- Walk through the streets of Florentine, Tel Aviv, to check out local murals and graffiti that are capturing people’s response to recent events.
- Explore Nachalat Binyamin, Tel Aviv’s arts and crafts market before moving on to the Carmel Market.
- Experience the dynamism of Jewish life at the ANU Museum of the Jewish People, dedicated to telling their story and representing their diversity, highlighting the creative works and cultural riches of a variety of communities in different periods of history until the present day.
- Return to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat.
- Kabbalat Shabbat services at a local Reform community.
- Home Hospitality/communal Shabbat dinner with local congregants.
- Tour Tel Maresha in the Beit Guvrin National Park and explore the ancient cave complex of the Hellenistic city.
- Participate in an engaging and educational archaeological dig at the Beit Guvrin Caves. This hands-on experience allows you to uncover ancient artifacts and learn about the rich history of the region. Gain insight into the daily lives of past civilizations and the significance of the discoveries made at this UNESCO World Heritage site.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch.
- Return to Tel Aviv.
- Free time followed by a late checkout.

- 9 days of touring with a J² Expert Educator (guide), 9 days of touring in a luxury, air-conditioned bus.

- Value Added Tax is currently not applicable to tourists visiting Israel. Should the law change, you will be notified accordingly, and VAT will be added to your final invoice.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
- Protect yourself from fraud by being cautious and vigilant when it comes to online theft. It is crucial to note that J² adventures will never send an email requesting you to transfer funds to a new account or to redirect a payment. We will never alter our account number or issue additional payment requests without first personally speaking to you and properly identifying ourselves. If you feel uncertain about any communication (scammers often impersonate legitimate companies via e-mail or by calling), halt and contact us directly through our toll-free number listed on our website to discuss any necessary payments. Refrain from responding to suspicious emails or clicking on links or attachments unless you are completely certain of their legitimacy. By following these guidelines and staying vigilant, you can significantly reduce your risk of becoming a victim of fraud.
