  • Depart Memphis on your overnight flight to Israel. Begin your journey with anticipation, knowing that in less than 24 hours you will set foot on the land of history, faith, and vibrant contemporary life.

ARRIVAL & SHEHECHIYANU IN TEL AVIV

  • Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport and transfer as a group to Tel Aviv, Israel’s vibrant, modern heart on the Mediterranean coast.
  • Check into your hotel and take some time to rest and refresh after your flight.
  • Gather at the Jaffa Overlook for a moving Shehechiyanu blessing, offering gratitude for arriving safely in Israel and for this special moment together overlooking the city where ancient and modern meet.
  • Conclude the day with a private welcome dinner in Tel Aviv, celebrating the start of your journey and connecting with your fellow travelers.

GAZA ENVELOPE: RESILIENCE & SERVICE

  • Drive south to the Gaza Envelope, witnessing the resilience of communities living near the border.
  • Participate in agricultural volunteering with HaShomer HaChadash, assisting with harvesting and planting while learning about local farmers’ challenges and strengthening connections to the land.
  • Pause in Sderot for lunch on your own.
  • Continue to Kibbutz Kfar Aza to meet residents and hear their stories of resilience.
  • Visit NOVA, the former music festival site now memorializing lives lost, and reflect at the Burnt Vehicles Compound, silent witnesses to October 7, 2023.
  • Help cook and serve a heartfelt BBQ dinner for IDF soldiers, sharing gratitude and conversation with those defending Israel on the front lines.

NORTHERN ISRAEL: SPIRITUALITY, SECURITY & ADVENTURE

  • View Lebanon from the northern border and receive a briefing on Israel’s security challenges with Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) Sarit Zehavi, founder of the ALMA Research and Education Center.
  • Enjoy a hike in Tel Dan Nature Reserve, followed by rafting in the Jordan River.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

JERUSALEM: HISTORY, REFLECTION & INSIGHT

  • Check out and drive to Jerusalem.
  • Spend the day exploring the Old City of Jerusalem, experiencing its historical, religious, and cultural layers through guided visits to sacred sites, narrow alleyways, and hidden corners of the city.

MEMORY, MARKET & SHABBAT

  • Visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial, walking through galleries, visiting the Hall of Names, Children’s Memorial, and Hall of Remembrance. Reflect on the resilience and memory of the Jewish people.
  • Experience Machane Yehuda Market, interacting with vendors, tasting local delicacies, and immersing in Jerusalem’s vibrant cultural tapestry.
  • In the evening, join Kabbalat Shabbat services at Temple’s sister synagogue in Shoham, followed by a home hospitality Shabbat dinner with local congregants.
  • Head back to Jerusalem.

MASADA, OASIS & DEAD SEA RENEWAL

  • Visit Mount Herzl, Israel’s central military cemetery, honoring fallen soldiers and national leaders.
  • Visit to the National Memorial Hall for Israel's Fallen Soldiers: Pay tribute to Israel’s fallen soldiers at this solemn and architecturally striking memorial on Mount Herzl. The hall’s unique design features an eternal flame and a continuously illuminated wall inscribed with the names of every soldier who has died in service to Israel. Gain a deeper understanding of Israel’s history, sacrifice, and resilience through this powerful and moving experience. Participate in the daily morning recitation of kaddish.
  • Discover the Israel National Library, a cultural and intellectual hub preserving centuries of Jewish creativity. Explore its vast collections and learn about the national initiative documenting the events of October 7, 2023.
  • Plant a tree at the Jerusalem Bird Observatory, connecting with Israel’s land, environment, and spirit of renewal.

While we do our best to accommodate a range of mobility levels, a moderate level of physical fitness is recommended to fully enjoy the experience.     • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
    • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.
  • For any assistance with this registration process or other trip-related queries, please email Customer Care: [email protected].
  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
    • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
    • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
