WELCOME TO BUENOS AIRES
Mon. Nov 2, 2026
  • 10:00 a.m. Arrive at Buenos Aires International Airport.
  • Orientation with your J² Expert Educator & local guide.
  • Tour the colorful La Boca neighborhood. Stroll along "Caminito" and admire the streets filled with souvenir shops and tango dancers and enjoy lunch on own.
  • Visit the Puerto Madero area, one of the largest projects ever undertaken in Buenos Aires. The former docks of the port have been converted into luminous offices, lofts, and commercial sites. The visit will include a 30-minute navigation of Puerto Madero aboard a premium boat in order to get a different view of the city.
  • Experience a guided tour of Buenos Aires, including:
    • Plaza De Mayo, which is surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Government House).
    • The Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo (first City Hall, built during Spanish rule).
    • Take a walk along the historic Avenida de Mayo and pass by the legendary Café Tortoni, a timeless gem steeped in charm and culture.
  • Return to the hotel and check in.
  • Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3
JEWISH LIFE IN BUENOS AIRES

  • Explore the “Once District,” a neighborhood that houses the majority of Jewish institutions in Buenos Aires, including the Hebraica JCC, numerous synagogues, Jewish theaters, Jewish schools, and rabbinical seminaries.
  • Immerse yourself in the vibrant cultural journey at the Instituto Judío de Investigaciones (IWO), Argentina's leading institution dedicated to preserving and celebrating Jewish history, culture, and heritage.
  • Stop at the site of the terrorist bombing at the AMIA in 1994, see the new building, as well as the memorial dedicated to the 89 victims.
  • Continue to the Jewish Museum at Libertad Synagogue, located within Buenos Aires' Grand Synagogue, to discover the rich history and cultural significance of Argentine Jewry through exhibits showcasing artefacts and photographs.
  • Spend time at the Holocaust Museum in Buenos Aires, delving into how the history of the Holocaust reverberated through Argentina.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • Evening at leisure and dinner on own.

DAY 4
IGUAZU
Wed. Nov 4, 2026
  • Early checkout of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu.
  • Arrive in Iguazu, home to one of the world’s widest waterfalls.
  • Welcome to Iguazu and come together to experience the unique convergence of three countries at the "Triple Frontera," the Triple Frontier, where the tri-borders of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay meet.
  • Immerse yourself in nature with a guided tour of La Aripuca, a cultural and ecological center dedicated to showcasing the Guarani indigenous culture. Featuring a giant replica of a traditional indigenous trap, the site emphasizes environmental awareness and cultural preservation. Built from rescued tree trunks, it serves as a symbol of sustainability, offering visitors the chance to explore guided tours, discover local crafts, and enjoy regional products.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Check into the hotel and enjoy relaxing in its lush scenery.

DAY 5
IGUAZU RIVER CANYON
Thu. Nov 5, 2026
  • Drive through the National Park. Walk along the paths and take in the lush vegetation, butterflies, and cascades. Enjoy the amazing panoramic view of the Devil's Throat, overlooking Argentina's iconic sites, including the Two Sisters and Bozzeti waterfalls, the Superior Circuit and San Martin Island, where the movie "The Mission" was filmed.
  • Board a gas-propelled train at the Main Station to the Upper Falls circuit and the Argentinian side of the Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo).
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Walk along the Iguazú River Canyon, to gain a better appreciation of the flora and fauna of the sub-tropical jungle, and the many surrounding falls.
  • Continue on all terrain trucks through the jungle in the humid subtropical forest to the edge of the banks of the Iguazu River. Enjoy the thrill and pleasure of the Iguaza Falls Boat Ride, where you will feel the refreshing spray of the falls.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • The Argentine Experience is a unique dining experience. You will learn about Argentine culture, taste fantastic local dishes, and drink exceptional wine.

DAY 6
VOLUNTEERING AND KABBALAT SHABBAT IN BUENOS AIRES
Fri. Nov 6, 2026
  • Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.
  • Arrive in Buenos Aires.
  • Meet with a representative of the Tzedaka Foundation to learn about their impactful work. Established to support Argentina's development, the foundation has brought meaningful improvements to the lives of thousands of vulnerable and at-risk Argentinians and take part in a hands-on volunteer activity.
  • Return to the hotel with time to refresh before Shabbat.
  • Attend Kabbalat Shabbat services at NCI - Emanu El Synagogue, followed by a communal dinner.

DAY 7
SHABBAT IN NORDELTA/TIGRE

  • Depart for a day-trip to Nordelta/Tigre, a popular weekend gateway on the outskirts of the city, very popular amongst the Jewish community of Buenos Aires.
  • Visit Judaica Norte and participate in the Shacharit service.
  • Enjoy lunch on own and free time to shop at the local market.
  • Discover the Club Hacoaj for an opportunity to learn more about Argentinian Jewry – past, present, and future.
  • Return to Buenos Aires.
  • Mark the end of Shabbat with havdalah and enjoy an evening at leisure.
  • Argentina is the birthplace of tango, and there's no better way to experience it than with a traditional tango dinner show. Enjoy an evening of authentic Argentine cuisine while being entertained by a captivating live tango performance. The show, led by professional dancers, showcases the passion and elegance of this iconic dance. Throughout the evening, you’ll also hear about the history of tango and its cultural importance in Argentina.

CULTURAL AND CULINARY TREASURES OF BUENOS AIRES

  • Take a walking tour of the Recoleta area, one of the city’s most glamorous spots and home to elegant boutiques, excellent restaurants, and the cemetery where Eva Perón (Evita) is buried.
  • Visit the memorial park dedicated to honoring the victims of state terrorism, commemorating those who were unlawfully detained, disappeared, and killed by the state between 1969 and 1983.
  • Walk through the "El Rosedal Garden," a rose garden with over 18,000 roses, picturesque bridges, and the Garden of Poets, making it a beloved spot for nature lovers and photographers seeking a peaceful escape in the city.
  • Experience the vibrant streets of Palermo Soho.
  • Enjoy a special visit to MALBA, the Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires, which houses the works of many well-known Latin American artists.

VIBRANT LIFE IN BUENOS AIRES

  • Explore the cultural and educational significance of Scholem Aleijem School, a local Jewish institution in Buenos Aires.
  • Visit the Moishe House in Buenos Aires, a dynamic and vibrant community center for young Jewish adults, providing a welcoming space for social, cultural, and educational events. It is part of the global Moishe House network, which aims to create meaningful Jewish experiences through peer-led programming.
  • Enjoy lunch on own in the San Telmo Market and experience the sights, smells, and tastes of Buenos Aires' oldest Barrio.
  • Explore the renowned Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires' main opera house, ranked the third-best globally by National Geographic. Revered for its exceptional acoustics, it stands among the top five concert venues worldwide.
  • Stop at the Israeli Embassy Memorial, which was bombed on March 17, 1992. Twenty-nine people lost their lives in the tragedy.
  • Check into the hotel and evening at leisure.

  • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
  • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required in order to complete the registration process.

  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 120 days before your trip begins. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
  • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
  • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 120 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 119 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
  • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
