  • Arrive at Ben-Gurion International Airport.
  • Check into the hotel.
  • Meet your J² Expert Educator who will accompany you on this journey of education and inspiration.
  • Stop at the Jaffa Port for an introduction to Tel Aviv and to your journey in Israel.
  • Kabbalat Shabbat services at Kehillat Yozma in Modi’in, led by Rabbi Nir Barkin. Shabbat dinner with families from the Yozma community.

DAY 3
TEL AVIV-JAFFA: OLD & NEW

  • Visit the Ayalon Institute near Rehovot and its secret ammunition factory.
  • Stop at Yitzchak Rabin Square, marking the site where Prime Minister Rabin was assassinated by a Jewish terrorist following a peace demonstration at the city hall.
  • Experience the dynamism of Jewish life at the ANU Museum of the Jewish People, dedicated to telling their story and representing their diversity, highlighting the creative works and cultural riches of a variety of communities in different periods of history until the present day.
  • Relive the birth of the State of Israel as you walk along Rothschild Boulevard, following the iconic Independence Trail.
  • Enjoy a free evening and explore what Tel Aviv’s night life has to offer, with its boardwalk, cafés, bars, clubs, and shows.

DAY 4
THE SEARCH FOR ROOTS
Sun. Jun 28, 2026
  • Drive to the Black Arrow Monument which honors Israeli soldiers who died during 1955’s Operation Black Arrow against Egyptian army posts in Gaza.
  • Meet with a desert agronomist and join the Salad Trail, an innovative program on a northern Negev farm combining agriculture and environmentalism. Learn how the family and farm have changed since October 7.
  • Visit the home and workshop of artist Yaron Bob, a metal sculptor who uses his artistic vision to turn metal from Qassam rockets into beautiful sculptures.
  • The Nova music festival near Kibbutz Re'im was meant to be a joyous celebration. Instead, it became a scene of unimaginable tragedy, where 364 attendees were brutally murdered, and 40 men and women were taken hostage by Hamas. Pay your respects at this memorial which honors their memory and serves as a powerful reminder for all of us to work tirelessly to prevent such horrors from ever happening again.
  • Mark the end of Shabbat with a communal havdalah ceremony overlooking the Mediterranean's edge.

DISCOVERING THE NORTH
Mon. Jun 29, 2026
  • Check out of the hotel.
  • Visit Caesarea, one of the Land of Israel’s most important cities during the Roman Period. Explore its ancient theater, palace, bathhouse, and hippodrome.
  • Continue to Sindyanna of Galilee, a non-profit organization that is creating economic opportunities for Arab women, one of Israel’s most underemployed sectors, and sample some of their award-winning olive oil.
  • Raft or kayak down the Jordan River.
  • Check into the hotel and enjoy dinner.
  • Discover the origins of the kibbutz movement and explore kibbutz life in Israel today.

DAY 6
ADVENTURE ON THE GOLAN
Tue. Jun 30, 2026
  • Enjoy a water hike in the beautiful Tel Dan Nature Reserve.
  • The Northern Front: Meet Lt. Colonel (Res.) Sarit Zehavi, founder and president of Alma Research and Education Center, who will share a security briefing on the region.
  • Enjoy lunch on own at a local Druze restaurant.
  • Option 1: Visit the Odem Mountain Winery at the foot of Mt. Hermon on the Golan Heights for a wine tasting.
  • Option 2: Visit the Freedom Farm for rescued animals. The farm is a rehabilitation center and educational project. Learn about their work and participate in a hands-on encounter with the animal residents of the farm including horses, pigs, birds, and even wolves.
  • Stop at Tel Faher, an abandoned Syrian outpost where Israeli soldiers fought during the Six Day War.
  • Enjoy a memorable BBQ dinner with soldiers stationed on the northern border (cost not included).

DAY 7
THE GALILEE MOSAIC
Wed. Jul 1, 2026
  • Check out of the hotel.
  • Welcome to the capital of Jewish mysticism, Tsfat, with its medieval synagogues and modern art galleries. Learn about the development of Jewish mysticism while touring the streets and alleys of the city.
  • Lunch on own.
  • Take part in an interactive archeological dig geared to all ages at the Beit Guvrin Caves.
  • Travel to Jerusalem and stop at the Haas Promenade for a traditional shehehiyanu blessing of thanksgiving.
  • Check into your hotel.
  • Optional: See the Night Spectacular at the Tower of David Museum and enjoy this cinematic celebration of sight and sound depicting the story of Jerusalem.

DAY 8
THE NEW JERUSALEMITES OF THE ANCIENT CITY
Thu. Jul 2, 2026
  • Celebrate your Bnai Mitzvah on the rooftop of the Dan Panorama hotel overlooking the Jerusalem skyline.
  • Explore the City of David, the core of ancient Jerusalem. Our visit will include the archaeological excavation and Hezekiah's water tunnel.
  • Lunch on own in the Old City of Jerusalem.
  • Visit the Jerusalem Archaeological Park, including the Davidson Center, Robinson’s Arch, and the egalitarian prayer plaza at Azrat Yisrael.
  • Continue to the Kotel (Western Wall), widely considered Judaism’s holiest site. We’ll discuss the wall’s historical and contemporary importance and experience its unique atmosphere.
  • Optional night visit to the Western Wall Tunnel, the underground continuation of the Kotel, and examine important archaeological discoveries that are revising our understanding of daily life in ancient Jerusalem.

DAY 9
MEMORY & RENEWAL
Fri. Jul 3, 2026
  • Adults and children over 10: Visit Yad Vashem, the national memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust.
  • Children: Visit Ein Yael, an interactive, living museum, located on a 2,000-year-old archaeological site.
  • Experience the sights, smells, and tastes of Jerusalem while walking through Shuk Mahane Yehuda, Jerusalem's open-air market. Use a voucher to enjoy lunch in one of the shuk's many different food stands.
  • Return to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat.
  • Walk to Yemin Moshe to welcome Shabbat. Shabbat Shalom.
  • Enjoy a festive Shabbat dinner at the hotel.

DAY 10
MASADA: HISTORY AND MYTH
Sat. Jul 4, 2026
  • Descend to the Dead Sea Basin.
  • Take the cable car to the top of Masada, learn about and see where Jewish rebels are believed to have made their final attempt to resist Roman invaders (c 74 CE).
  • Float on the Dead Sea where the feeling of weightlessness is great fun and coat yourself in the famous Dead Sea mud.
  • Hike through one of the many trails of the desert oasis at the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.
  • Return to the hotel for a late checkout.
  • Havdalah overlooking the Old City.
  • Celebrate the 4th of July with a festive farewell dinner.
  • Transfer to Ben-Gurion International Airport for your departure to the US.

  • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
  • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.

  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
  • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
