  • Arrive at Ben-Gurion International Airport and meet your J² Expert Educator, who will guide you throughout this journey of learning, connection, and inspiration.
  • Travel to Jerusalem, pausing at a scenic overlook for a first breathtaking view of the Old City - a moment to absorb the layers of history, holiness, and hope that define it - and join together in reciting the 'Shehecheyanu' blessing to mark your arrival in the Holy City.
  • Check in to your Jerusalem hotel and take time to settle in.
  • Gather for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant with Journalist Jessica Steinberg about her experiences as a reporter, Israeli, immigrant, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend during these very tumultuous times.

MEMORY & RENEWAL

  • Meet with a leader from IRAC (Religious Action Center) to learn about social justice initiatives in Israel.
  • Option 1: Visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s national Holocaust memorial, honoring the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and reflecting on resilience and responsibility.
  • Option 2: Take a guided tour of the new Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem, exploring its innovative exhibits that examine the challenges of modern society through the lenses of human dignity, responsibility, and mutual respect.
  • Kabbalat Shabbat at Azrat Yisrael, the egalitarian prayer space at the Western Wall, for a heartfelt moment of prayer, reflection, and shared hope for an inclusive and evolving Jewish future.

  • No visit to Israel is complete without standing at the Kotel (Western Wall), Judaism’s holiest site, where generations have come to pray and place their hopes and blessings between its ancient stones; together, we’ll explore its history, meaning, and enduring power in Jewish life today.
  • Climb to the rooftops of the Old City and take in its breathtaking panorama while exploring the complex ties and shared stories of Jerusalem’s faith communities - overlooking the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the golden Dome of the Rock, and the Hurva Synagogue.
  • Conclude Shabbat with a meaningful Havdalah ceremony, celebrating community, reflection, and the transition from sacred time back into the rhythm of the week.

  • Travel to the Israel-Gaza border to meet Chen Kotler - a resident of Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Learn with Chen about the events of October Seventh and their aftermath.
  • Stop at Givat HaTzofaniyot (Observers’ Hill) and hear powerful stories of women in the military and civilians impacted by October 7, reflecting on courage, equity, and leadership in Israeli society.
  • Pay your respects at the Nova Music Festival Memorial at Kibbutz Re’im, honoring the young lives lost in the tragic attack that transformed a weekend of joy into heartbreak, and reflect at the moving memorial created by families and friends - a space that carries the promise, “We Will Dance Again".

    • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
    • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $675 is required in order to complete the registration process.

  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
    • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
    • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
