  • 10:00 a.m. Arrive at Buenos Aires International Airport.
  • Orientation with your J² Expert Educator & local guide.
  • Embark on a fun-filled scavenger hunt through Buenos Aires, designed to thrill the whole family. Discover the city's iconic sites with fun facts, challenges, and games perfect for kids of all ages:
    • Discover the fun story behind the pink color of Argentina’s Presidential Palace, stroll down Cartoon Lane, and snap a photo with Mafalda. A surprise gift awaits for the kids at the end!
    • Explore Plaza de Mayo, including the Cathedral, Cabildo, and Casa Rosada, as well as Santo Domingo Church.
    • End at San Telmo, one of the most ancient neighborhoods in town. Walk around its cobblestone streets and visit the traditional market, antiques, and design stores. Free time for lunch on own.
  • Learn about the fascinating story of Jewish life and history in Argentina at the Jewish Museum. Make sure to check out the colorful exhibits, full of fascinating artifacts and photographs. The museum is hosted in the Libertad Synagogue, where we will celebrate our Bar Mitzvah the following day.

DAY 3

  • Bar Mitzvah at the historic Libertad Synagogue, where your family will be warmly welcomed by Buenos Aires' Reform Jewish community for a meaningful ceremony in one of Latin America's most iconic Jewish landmarks. (costs are not included in the package)
  • Celebratory lunch at a local restaurant. (costs are not included in the package)
  • Begin your afternoon tour of the colorful La Boca neighborhood at the vibrant Caminito Street, known for its colorful houses, street art, and tango dancers. Stroll through the open-air museum and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
  • Head to the iconic La Bombonera stadium, home of the Boca Juniors football team. Take a guided tour to learn about the stadium's history, visit the museum, and see the field up-close.
  • Experience the vibrant art of Fileteado Porteño in a hands-on workshop! This iconic Argentine art is known for its intricate designs, vivid colors, and symbolic elements that beautifully capture the spirit of Buenos Aire. Create your own colorful masterpiece to take home as a unique souvenir.

WILD IGUAZU

  • Early checkout of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu.
  • Arrive in Iguazu, home to one of the world’s widest waterfalls.

      Start your adventure at agro-eco-tourism park La Aripuca with a guided tour, where kids can marvel at the giant structure made from rescued trees and learn about local wildlife.       Embark on an unforgettable adventure in the Paranaense Rainforest!
    • Start with a 1.2-mile interpretative trek to discover the stunning native flora.
    • Feel the thrill of ziplining over the majestic 12-meter Salto del Medio waterfall.
    • Challenge yourself with tree-climbing activities as you descend to the Paraná Gorge, as you take in breathtaking panoramic views.

IGUAZU RIVER CANYON

  • Board a gas-propelled train at the Main Station to the Upper Falls circuit and the Argentinian side of the Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo).
  • Walk along the Iguazú River Canyon, via the lower circuit and the upper circuit, to gain a better appreciation of the flora and fauna of the sub-tropical jungle, and the many surrounding falls.
  • Lunch on own at a local restaurant.
  • OPTION 1: FAMILIES WITH KIDS UNDER 12 YEARS OLD:
      Get ready for an unforgettable Eco Adventure as you cruise through the breathtaking Iguazu Falls on a thrilling boat ride. Feel the adrenaline as you navigate the powerful waters, and prepare to get wet as you experience the sheer force and beauty of the falls up-close.
  • OPTION 2: FAMILIES WITH TEENS 12 YEARS OLD AND UP:
    • Get ready for an exhilarating adventure in Iguazú National Park! Kick off with a thrilling 3.1-mile jeep drive along the Yacaratiá trail.
    • Hop on raft boats for a 3.7-mile journey up the lower Iguazú River, tackling fast-flowing rapids. Feel the adrenaline as you face the mighty San Martín waterfall, the largest accessible by boat.
    • After this heart-pounding experience, return to the port and enjoy a fun 492-foot uphill walk to the Lower Circuit of the park. Adventure awaits!
  • Return to the hotel after an exhilarating day.
  • The Argentine Experience is a unique dining experience. You will learn about Argentine culture, taste fantastic local dishes, and adults will taste exceptional wine.

  • Discover the vibrant streets of Palermo Soho, with free time to savor a delightful lunch on own.
  • You're in for a treat! Learn to make delicious pastries and traditional Argentine alfajores in a fun, hands-on workshop. It's a great way to enjoy making and tasting these sweet treats together.

A DAY IN TIGRE

  • Set off on a fun day-trip to Tigre, a favorite weekend gateway on the outskirts of the city, especially popular with the Jewish community of Buenos Aires. The Tigre Delta is famous for its winding rivers, peaceful streams, and lush green islands. It's a perfect spot for a family adventure in nature!
  • Set sail on a relaxing cruise through the channels of the Parana-Delta, where you can enjoy the stunning greenery and peaceful waters.
  • Return to Buenos Aires.
  • Attend Kabbalat Shabbat services at a local synagogue.
  • Shabbat dinner/Christmas Eve dinner at the hotel.

DAY 8
SHABBAT IN BUENOS AIRES

  • Hop on a bike for a fun afternoon tour of the Recoleta area! Ride through beautiful parks, fancy streets with mansions and embassies, and visit the famous Recoleta cemetery where the legendary Eva Perón (Evita) is buried.
  • Argentina is the birthplace of tango. Enjoy a special evening with dinner and a tango show at a local venue (the show continues until the late evening; transfers will be arranged for those who are too tired).

IN THE PAMPAS

  • Check out of the hotel.
  • Step into the heart of Argentina’s pampas, a vast green paradise that stretches as far as the eye can see beyond the cities. Drive to La Bandada to experience and explore life in the Argentinian countryside!
  • Welcome to the Ranch with drinks and empenadas for snacks.
  • Saddle up and ride like a real gaucho! Explore the large wooden park on horseback.
  • Wrap up your adventure with a farewell lunch featuring a traditional Argentine asado! Enjoy a feast of various meats, grilled vegetables, and fresh salad.

  • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
  • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required in order to complete the registration process.

  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 120 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 120 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 119 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
  • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
