  • Upon arrival, transfer to Tel Aviv and meet your tour educator, who will accompany the group throughout this journey of learning, reflection, and inspiration.
  • Stop at the Jaffa Lookout for a panoramic introduction to Tel Aviv and the story of modern Israel - an ideal setting to frame the themes of renewal, continuity, and resilience that will guide our days ahead.
  • Continue to the hotel for check-in. In the evening, gather for a casual pizza dinner, offering time for reflection, introductions, and a program overview that sets expectations and intentions for the journey ahead.
Overnight: Tel Aviv Meals: Dinner
DAY 2
COMMUNITY, CONNECTION & RESPONSIBILITY
Mon. Jun 29, 2026
  • Begin the day by meeting a peer group of Israeli teens. Together, explore the meaning of community through shared dialogue, joint activities, and relationship-building - an opportunity for both parents and teens to connect across cultures and experiences.
  • Hear the powerful story of Project 24, an initiative born just days after the October 7 tragedy. Project 24 connects Israeli communities directly affected by the attack and the ongoing war with North American Jewish communities, focusing on mutual support, solidarity, and healing.
  • Roll up your sleeves at MOLET for a hands-on carpentry workshop. Participants will create furniture for underprivileged communities, putting the values of tikkun olam and service into action.
  • Enjoy lunch using your Yamishuk voucher in Tel Aviv’s vibrant Carmel Market, sampling local flavors while experiencing everyday Israeli life.
  • In the afternoon, visit ANU – Museum of the Jewish People for a special interactive workshop with our Israeli peers. The program highlights Jewish diversity, creativity, and cultural expression across time and place, emphasizing how identity continues to evolve in the modern era.
Overnight: Tel Aviv Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
DAY 3
RESILIENCE ON THE FRONT LINES
Tue. Jun 30, 2026
  • Travel south to Kibbutz Yad Mordechai and visit the From Holocaust to Revival Museum. The museum traces Jewish history from the Holocaust through the founding of the State of Israel, including the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and the kibbutz’s own heroic stand during Israel’s War of Independence in 1948.
  • Continue to Givat HaTaspitaniot (Observers Hill), overlooking Gaza. Learn about the critical role of IDF field observers, hear stories of women in the military, and honor those who lost their lives during the Hamas attack of October 7, 2023.
  • Lunch en route.
  • Arrive at the site of the Nova Music Festival, now a poignant living memorial. Walk through the grounds, encountering personal tributes and commemorative displays that honor the victims. This space offers time for reflection, mourning, and bearing witness.
  • Visit a kibbutz near the Gaza border and hear directly from a resident about the events of October 7, the immediate aftermath, and the community’s ongoing journey of recovery, resilience, and rebuilding.
  • Return to Tel Aviv in the evening with time to reflect and process the day’s experiences.
Overnight: Tel Aviv Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
DAY 4
MEMORY, PRAYER & PEOPLEHOOD
Wed. Jul 1, 2026
  • Begin the day with a service-learning experience at Yad LaKashish (Lifeline for the Elderly), creating art alongside elderly immigrants. This intergenerational encounter highlights dignity, creativity, and the power of human connection.
  • Continue to Yad Vashem, Israel’s national Holocaust memorial. Through powerful exhibitions, personal testimonies, the Hall of Names, and the Children’s Memorial, participants will honor the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and reflect on the responsibility of memory and moral courage.
  • Spend time exploring Mahane Yehuda Market, Jerusalem’s bustling open-air shuk, enjoying its sights, sounds, and flavors independently.
  • Visit the Western Wall, followed by prayer at Ezrat Israel, the pluralistic section of the Kotel, affirming inclusive Jewish expression and shared peoplehood.
  • Dialogue with Haviv Rettig Gur, senior analyst at The Times of Israel. Since 2005, he has covered Israeli politics, foreign and regional policies, and the complex relationship with the Jewish Diaspora.
Overnight: Tel Aviv Meals: Breakfast
