DAY 1
MASADA AND THE DEAD SEA
Mon. Feb 1, 2027
- Descend to the Dead Sea Basin.
- Ascend by cable car to the summit of Masada, where you will explore the remains of Herod’s desert fortress and reflect on the story of Jewish rebels who made their final stand against Roman forces around 74 CE, a narrative that continues to spark discussion about courage, choice, and legacy.
- Relax and rejuvenate with time to float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, followed by a leisurely buffet lunch at the hotel, offering space to unwind and absorb the day’s experiences.
- Return to Jerusalem in the afternoon, enjoying a restful evening after a day that blends history, nature, and renewal.

DAY 2
MEMORY, MEANING, AND JEWISH RENEWAL IN JERUSALEM
Tue. Feb 2, 2027
- Begin the day at Yad Vashem, Israel’s national Holocaust memorial, where you will honor the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust through deeply moving exhibits, personal testimonies, photographs, and memorial spaces. Time will be spent at the Hall of Names and the Children’s Memorial, offering a powerful opportunity for reflection on remembrance, responsibility, and the enduring resilience of the Jewish people.
- Continue with an immersive walk through the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, tracing the heartbeat of Jewish life through narrow alleyways and ancient stones that tell a story of faith, destruction, perseverance, and renewal across generations.
- Explore the Jerusalem Archaeological Park, including the Davidson Center and Robinson’s Arch, where layers of history reveal how Jewish life once flourished at the foot of the Temple Mount and continues to shape Jewish identity today.
- Stroll along the Cardo, the main thoroughfare of Roman Jerusalem, and imagine the vibrant life of the city as you walk among restored Byzantine-era columns that once connected commerce, culture, and community.
- Stand before King Hezekiah’s Broad Wall, an impressive 2,700-year-old fortification that defended ancient Jerusalem and still stands as a powerful symbol of Jewish endurance and strength.
- Conclude the afternoon by gathering in Hurva Square, the lively heart of the Jewish Quarter, where history, spirituality, and modern Jewish life come together in one of Jerusalem’s most meaningful communal spaces.
- Return to the hotel.

DAY 3
COMMUNITIES, CULTURES, AND SHARED SPACES
Wed. Feb 3, 2027
- Travel north along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, where you will explore layers of Roman, Crusader, and modern history, reflecting on themes of continuity, change, and coexistence across civilizations.
- Pause at the Bahá’í Gardens in Haifa, visiting the beautifully terraced gardens and the gold-domed Shrine of the Báb, a site of remarkable beauty, serenity, and spiritual significance overlooking the sea.
- Ascend Mount Carmel to visit a local village and meet members of Israel’s Druze community, learning about Druze history, traditions, and values, and experiencing firsthand the diversity of Israeli society.
- Enjoy the tastes of the Druze kitchen with a home hospitality dinner.
- Return to Jerusalem in the late evening after a full day of learning, connection, and shared experiences.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
