- Arrive at Warsaw Chopin Airport, where individual arrival transfers will greet you and bring you directly to your hotel for a smooth and comfortable start.
- 1:30 p.m. Meet your J² Expert Educator and begin your journey with an introduction to Warsaw, your itinerary, and the 1,000-year history of Jews in Poland.
- Set out on a powerful journey through ten centuries of Jewish life in Poland at the POLIN Museum. This immersive experience brings to life a story of resilience, creativity, and continuity - from the golden age of Polish Jewry through its destruction and into the present day.
- Check into the hotel.
- Evening walk through Warsaw’s Old Town, rebuilt stone by stone after wartime destruction. Wander past cafés, squares, and historic streets that echo the Jewish presence that once animated them.
- Welcome dinner at JCC Warsaw, an open and pluralistic community hub where Jews, those of Jewish descent, and their families and friends engage with contemporary Jewish culture and life.

DAY 3
WARSAW: MEMORY, DESTRUCTION, AND COURAGE
Tue. Mar 30, 2027
- Visit the Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery, a vast and moving repository of Jewish Warsaw’s past. Its gravestones tell the stories of influential figures - religious and secular - whose contributions shaped Jewish and Polish life.
- Visit the Nożyk Synagogue, the only surviving pre-Holocaust synagogue in Warsaw still in use today.
- Enjoy lunch on your own at the revitalized Norblin Factory, a dynamic industrial complex now home to diverse culinary offerings.
- Take a guided exploration of the Warsaw Ghetto, including remnants of the Ghetto Wall and the Rapoport Memorial. Walk the Path of Remembrance, marking sites such as Mila 18 and the Umschlagplatz, reflecting on the uprising, resistance, and ultimate destruction of the community.
- Visit the former Warsaw Zoo and learn the story of Jan and Antonina Żabiński, who risked their lives to rescue approximately 300 Jews during the Holocaust.
- Conclude the day with a visit to the Polish Vodka Museum, including a guided tasting experience.
- Evening at leisure.

DAY 4
FROM SHTETL LIFE TO TREBLINKA
Wed. Mar 31, 2027
- Depart the hotel and drive to Tykocin.
- Explore the town of Tykocin, offering a window into the world of the shtetl. Visit the beautifully restored Baroque synagogue and the former beit midrash, now a museum preserving the town’s Jewish history.
- Continue to the Łopuchowo Forest, where in August 1941 the Jews of Tykocin were murdered. In this quiet woodland marked by mass graves, we will pause to remember the community’s final moments.
- Packed lunch en route.
- Visit Treblinka, one of the largest Nazi extermination camps. Though largely destroyed by the Nazis, it remains a powerful site of memory. We will focus not only on loss but also on acts of courage, including Janusz Korczak’s moral stand and the 1943 prisoner uprising.
- Return to Warsaw.

KRAKOW: REVIVAL AND REMEMBRANCE

- Travel by train to Krakow, passing through Poland’s countryside.
- Explore Kazimierz, the historic Jewish Quarter and once the center of Jewish life in Krakow for over 500 years. Today, it is a vibrant district blending history and contemporary culture. Highlights include:

AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU: WITNESS AND MEMORY
Fri. Apr 2, 2027
- Travel to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and extermination complex, where over 1.1 million people were murdered.
- Visit Auschwitz I, now a museum housing artifacts and testimony that document the lives and deaths of prisoners.
- Continue to Auschwitz II–Birkenau, preserved largely in its original state, offering a stark and expansive space for reflection.
- Light lunch en route.
- Visit the restored Oświęcim Synagogue, a quiet testament to the Jewish life that once existed alongside the camp.
- Return to Krakow.
- Optional Kabbalat Shabbat services at the Rema Synagogue (Orthodox).
- Gather for Shabbat dinner at the Krakow JCC, with an opportunity to hear from community leaders working to rebuild Jewish life in Poland.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on double occupancy room.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $675 is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
