  • Begin with an introduction tour of Buenos Aires, including:
    • Stroll along Avenida de Mayo toward the historic Plaza de Mayo, exploring the political and cultural forces that shaped modern Argentina and influenced generations of immigrants who built new lives here.
    • Discover the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo, landmarks that reflect the country’s colonial heritage, evolving national identity, and multicultural development.
    • View the impressive Congress Building, symbolizing Argentina’s democratic aspirations and ongoing commitment to pluralism and civic life.
  • Continue to the colorful La Boca neighborhood, where Buenos Aires’ immigrant roots come vividly to life. Originally settled by Genoese immigrants working in the nearby port, La Boca became a symbol of resilience, cultural identity, and pluralism as generations of newcomers transformed hardship into a thriving community rich in art, music, and tradition.
  • Stroll along Caminito, taking in the vibrant street art, tango performers, artisan markets, and brightly painted conventillos that reflect the neighborhood’s multicultural spirit and enduring pride. The lively atmosphere of this historic district offers a window into the diverse influences that helped shape Argentina’s national identity.
  • Drive by the historic Hotel de los Inmigrantes, where many Jewish immigrants began their new lives in Argentina, and discover the country's rich immigration history.

ARGENTINE JEWISH LIFE: RESILIENCE, LEADERSHIP & THE FUTURE

  • Start your day exploring the Once District, home to many of Buenos Aires’ major Jewish institutions, including synagogues, schools, rabbinical seminaries, Jewish theaters, and the Hebraica JCC, offering a vivid window into everyday Jewish life in the city.
  • Visit the AMIA building, headquarters of the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina and site of the devastating 1994 terrorist bombing. Learn about the resilience of the Jewish community while viewing the memorial dedicated to the 89 victims.
  • Reflect at the Holocaust Museum of Buenos Aires, exploring how Holocaust memory shaped Jewish communal consciousness, global Jewish responsibility, and conversations around identity, antisemitism, and resilience in Argentina and beyond.
  • Engage in a meaningful Tikkun Olam encounter with a representative of the Tzedaka Foundation, whose impactful social programs have improved the lives of thousands of vulnerable and at-risk Argentinians across the country.
  • Continue to the Jewish Museum at the Libertad Synagogue, housed within Buenos Aires’ historic Grand Synagogue, where exhibits and stories trace the development, struggles, achievements, and evolving identity of Argentine Jewry.
  • Return to the hotel after a powerful day of learning and community encounters.

DAY 4
INTO THE RAINFOREST
Wed. Nov 3, 2027
  • Early checkout of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazú.
  • Depart Buenos Aires.
  • Welcome to Iguazu and come together to experience the unique convergence of three countries at the "Triple Frontera," the Triple Frontier, where the tri-borders of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay meet.
  • Immerse yourself in nature with a guided tour of La Aripuca, a cultural and ecological center dedicated to showcasing the Guarani indigenous culture. Featuring a giant replica of a traditional indigenous trap, the site emphasizes environmental awareness and cultural preservation. Built from rescued tree trunks, it serves as a symbol of sustainability, offering visitors the chance to explore guided tours, discover local crafts, and enjoy regional products.

DAY 5
IGUAZU RIVER CANYON
Thu. Nov 4, 2027
  • Drive through the National Park. Walk along the paths and take in the lush vegetation, butterflies, and cascades. Enjoy the amazing panoramic view of the Devil's Throat, overlooking Argentina's iconic sites, including the Two Sisters and Bozzeti waterfalls, the Superior Circuit and San Martin Island, where the movie "The Mission" was filmed.
  • Board a gas-propelled train at the Main Station to the Upper Falls circuit and the Argentine side of the Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo).
  • Walk along the Iguazú River Canyon, to gain a better appreciation of the flora and fauna of the sub-tropical jungle, and the many surrounding falls.
  • Continue on all terrain trucks through the jungle in the humid subtropical forest to the edge of the banks of the Iguazu River. Enjoy the thrill and pleasure of the Iguazú Falls Boat Ride, where you will feel the refreshing spray of the falls.
  • Return to the hotel and enjoy relaxing in its lush scenery.

DAY 6
A REFORM SHABBAT OF PEOPLEHOOD, COMMUNITY & CONNECTION
Fri. Nov 5, 2027
  • Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires.
  • Arrive back in the capital and reconnect with the vibrant rhythm and elegance of city life.
  • Enjoy walking tour of Recoleta, the city’s most refined neighborhood, filled with historic mansions, chic boutiques, and the famous Recoleta Cemetery, where Eva Perón is buried.
  • Pay tribute at the Israeli Embassy Memorial, honoring the victims of the 1992 bombing.

SHABBAT IN TIGRE: NATURE & COMMUNITY

  • Participate in Shacharit services at Judaica Norte, experiencing Shabbat in a unique and welcoming communal setting.
  • Enjoy lunch with members of Club Hacoaj, one of Argentina’s most important Jewish social and cultural institutions, while learning about how sports, culture, Zionism, and community life have flourished there across generations.
  • Cruise through the scenic Paraná Delta, taking in the tranquil waterways, island homes, and distinctive ecosystem that make this area one of Argentina’s natural treasures.
  • Conclude Shabbat with a meaningful Havdalah ceremony, marking the transition into a new week together as a community.

  • Enjoy free time for lunch in the San Telmo Market.
  • Discover the celebrated MALBA Museum (Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires), home to an extraordinary collection of modern and contemporary Latin American masterpieces.     • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on double occupancy room.
    • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required in order to complete the registration process.

  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 120 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
    • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 120 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 119 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
    • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
