  • Meet your J² Expert Educator who will accompany you on this journey of education and inspiration.
  • Stop at an overlook of Jerusalem for a traditional “shehehiyanu” blessing of thanksgiving.
  • Tour Jerusalem’s Old City and the Jewish Quarter. Among the highlights will be:
    • The Cardo, the main street of Roman-controlled Jerusalem and its Byzantine-era columns.
    • King Hezekiah’s “Broad Wall,” built to protect Jerusalem from invasion 2,700 years ago.
    • Hurva Square, the center of modern-day life in the Jewish Quarter.
  • Visit the Jerusalem Archaeological Park. 
  • Spend time at the Kotel (Western Wall), Judaism's holiest site.
  • Explore the Western Wall Tunnel.
  • Check into your hotel.
  • Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Take the cable car to the top of Masada.
  • Float on the Dead Sea.
  • Hike in Nahal David, part of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.
  • Ride a camel into the Judean wilderness followed by a traditional “hafla” dinner in a tent.

    • Your guided tour will include:
      • The Avenue of the Righteous.
      • The Historical Museum.
      • The Children’s Memorial.
      • A memorial service.

  • Experience the sights, smells, and tastes of Jerusalem while walking through the Mahane Yehuda open-air market.
  • Return to the hotel to freshen up before Shabbat.
  • Kabbalat Shabbat services at Kehillat Kol Haneshema.
  • Home hospitality Shabbat dinner/communal Shabbat dinner with local congregants OR festive Shabbat dinner at the hotel.

  • Take part in an interactive archeological dig geared to all ages at the Beit Guvrin Caves.
  • Return to Jerusalem and stroll along the ramparts of Jerusalem's Old City.
  • Tour the new museum at the Tower of David and explore the city's history including an interactive game using the compound.
  • Mark the end of Shabbat with a communal Havdalah ceremony overlooking the Old City.
  • PARENTS: Night out exploring Jerusalem.

  • Check out of the hotel.
  • Drive to Tsfat, the capital of Jewish mysticism with its medieval synagogues and modern art galleries. Learn about the development of Jewish mysticism while touring the streets and alleys of the city.
  • Raft or kayak down the Jordan River.
  • Join an Israeli Arab family at their home to talk, over tea and coffee, about their lives and to join them for a GalilEat cooking workshop, followed by a traditional dinner.

  • Enjoy a hike in the beautiful Tel Dan Nature Reserve.
  • We'll gaze across the Golan and into Syria from the top of Mount Bental and gain powerful insights into Israel's geopolitical and security situation.
  • ADULTS: Visit the Odem Mountain Winery at the foot of Mt. Hermon on the Golan Heights for wine tasting.
  • TEENS & CHILDREN: The Odem Freedom Farm is a rehabilitation center and educational project aimed at creating a change of consciousness in the way humans view the earth, animals, and, just as importantly – themselves. Hear about their work and participate in a hands-on encounter with the animal residents of the farm including horses, pigs, birds, and even wolves.
  • Enjoy a Jeep tour of the Golan Heights.

  • Visit Sindyanna of Galilee - a non-profit organization that is creating economic opportunities for Arab women, one of Israel’s most underemployed sectors - and sample some of their award-winning olive oil.
  • Travel the Ma'alot, the namesake of the congregation, and tour the town to understand the reality of living closer to Israel's northern border.
  • Guided visit to the ancient city of Caesarea.
  • Walk through the 2,000-year-old water tunnel at Park Alona, the water source for ancient Caesarea.
  • Drive to Tel Aviv and check into the hotel.

Wed. Jul 2, 2025
  • Explore the Old City of Jaffa, including the flea market – Shuk Hapishpishim.
  • Visit the Peres Peace Center, created by the late Shimon Peres, former Prime Minister and President of Israel.
  • Walk along Independence Trail in Tel Aviv and embark on a remarkable journey that begins with the founding of Tel Aviv in 1909 and ends with the establishment of Israel in 1948.
  • Experience the dynamism of Jewish life at the ANU Museum of the Jewish People, dedicated to telling their story and representing their diversity, highlighting the creative works and cultural riches of a variety of communities in different periods of history until the present day.
  • Return to the hotel for a late checkout.
  • Farewell dinner and closing words.

  • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
  • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.
  • For any assistance with this registration process or other trip-related queries, please email Customer Care:
  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
  • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
