- Welcome to Israel! Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport.
- Stop at the Ancient Roman Aqueduct, located on the pristine beaches of Caesarea.
- Continue north to the hotel, check into the hotel and enjoy dinner.
- After an exhilarating jeep tour, we'll gaze across the Golan and into Syria from the top of Mount Bental and gain powerful insights into Israel's geopolitical and security situation with a briefing by an expert from the Alma Research and Education Center.
- Sample some of Israel's finest wine at a boutique family owned winery.
- Enjoy a chocolate workshop at the De Karina Chocolate Factory on Kibbutz Ein Zivan, where you will take part in a tour and workshop and sample handmade premium chocolate.
- Dinner at the hotel.
- Check out of the hotel.
- Drive to Tzfat, one of the four Holy Cities. Visit ancient synagogues before strolling through the Artists’ Colony.
- Witness the impact of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation in the partnership region known as "Sovev Kinneret".
- Visit the Kinneret Cemetery where iconic Zionist figures are buried.
- Head toward Jerusalem, stopping at Mount Scopus for a traditional “shehechiyanu” blessing of thanksgiving.
- Check into the hotel.
- How does Yad Vashem reflect the Israeli understanding of the Shoah? Discussion led by a J² expert.
- Depart the hotel.
- Adults and children over 10: Visit Yad Vashem. Your guided tour will include:
- The Avenue of the Righteous.
- The Historical Museum.
- The Children’s Memorial.
- Children’s program: Explore the Bloomfield Science Museum.
- ALL: Experience the sights, smells, and tastes of Jerusalem while walking through the Mahane Yehuda open-air market.
- Return to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat.
- Welcome the Sabbath with Kabbalat Shabbat services.
- Enjoy a home hospitality/communal Shabbat dinner with members of a local progressive community OR a festive Shabbat dinner at the hotel.
- Tour Jerusalem’s Old City and the Jewish Quarter.
- Among the highlights will be:
- A climb to the rooftops, overlooking the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the golden Dome of the Rock, and the famous Hurva Synagogue.
- The Cardo, the main street of Roman-controlled Jerusalem and its Byzantine-era columns.
- King Hezekiah’s “Broad Wall,” built to protect Jerusalem from invasion 2,700 years ago.
- Hurva Square, the center of modern-day life in the Jewish Quarter.
- Visit the Kotel (Western Wall), the most significant site in the world for the Jewish people.
- Explore the Christian Quarter including Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
- Descend to the Dead Sea Basin.
- Take the cable car to the top of Masada, where Jewish rebels are believed to have made their final attempt to resist Roman invaders (c 74 CE).
- Float on the Dead Sea where the feeling of weightlessness is great fun.
- At Genesis Land, ride a camel into the heart of the desert, and bake pita. Enjoy hospitality in a desert tent and share a traditional “hafla” dinner.
- Return to Jerusalem.
- Take part in an interactive archeological dig geared to all ages at the Beit Guvrin Caves.
- Stop at Tel Azeka, the site of David’s biblical battle against Goliath.
- Visit the Ayalon Institute near Rehovot and its secret ammunition factory.
- Return to Jerusalem.
- Check out of the hotel.
- Explore the Western Wall Tunnel, the underground continuation of the Kotel, and examine important archaeological discoveries that are revising our understanding of daily life in ancient Jerusalem.
- At the Magen David Adom (MDA) Emergency Station, we'll hear and see how this important organization functions.
- Visit Khan Shaar Hagai a new heritage site which is dedicated to the period of time when Jerusalem was under siege.
- Enter Tel Aviv, also known as “the city that never sleeps.”
- Check into the hotel.
- Visit the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation created by the late Shimon Peres, former Prime Minister and President of Israel.
- Explore the Old City of Jaffa before eating and drinking at Levinsky Market, where we’ll sample food, sweets, and spices from all over the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
- Walk along the Independence Trail in Tel Aviv and embark on a remarkable journey that begins with the founding of Tel Aviv in 1909 and ends with the establishment of Israel in 1948.
- Visit ANU - Museum of the Jewish People, which is dedicated to telling the ongoing story of the Jewish people.
- Free time for last minute shopping and packing.
- Late check-out from the hotel.
- Enjoy a festive farewell dinner.

What to expect
- 9 nights' accommodations. Late check out on the day of departure is included.
- 10 days of touring with a tour educator (guide),in a luxury, air-conditioned bus.
- Daily breakfast, 1 lunch & 5 dinners.
- Water on the bus.

- All site entrance fees & program fees as per your final program.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.

- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
