DAY 1
A GENTLE TRANSITION IN JERUSALEM

- Bid farewell to the main group at the conclusion of the Israel journey and return to the hotel for a restful evening in Jerusalem, with time to reflect on the experiences shared and prepare for the next chapter of your adventure.

DAY 2
INTO JORDAN & WADI RUM’S DESERT WONDERS
Sun. Dec 13, 2026
- Begin your day early and meet your dedicated J² field representative, who will assist the group throughout the journey from Jerusalem to the border and help ensure a smooth and comfortable transition into Jordan.
- Store your luggage securely at the Inbal Hotel before transferring to Ben-Gurion Airport’s domestic terminal for a short flight south to Ramon Airport, located near Eilat and Israel’s dramatic desert landscapes.
- Proceed to the Yitzhak Rabin Border Crossing and complete the necessary passport and border formalities before entering the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Upon arrival, meet your Jordanian guide and driver and begin exploring one of the Middle East’s most captivating regions.
- Venture into the spectacular wilderness of Wadi Rum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its towering sandstone mountains, sweeping red-sand valleys, natural arches, and timeless desert beauty shaped by wind, weather, and centuries of human history.
- Savor a picnic lunch amid the breathtaking desert surroundings, taking time to appreciate Wadi Rum’s vast silence, striking colors, and remarkable sense of openness beneath the expansive Jordanian sky.
- Explore this dramatic landscape aboard a traditional desert 4x4 vehicle, following remote tracks through scenery made famous by explorers and filmmakers while learning about the Bedouin communities that have lived in this extraordinary region for generations.
- Journey north through Jordan’s rugged mountain landscapes toward Wadi Musa, the modern gateway to Petra. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy time to relax, refresh, and gather for dinner after a full day of travel and discovery.

DAY 3
PETRA REVEALED: THE LEGENDARY ROSE-RED CITY

- After breakfast, check out of the hotel and set out to explore Petra, Jordan's crown jewel and one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the world. Carved into vibrant rose-colored sandstone cliffs more than 2,000 years ago, Petra served as the flourishing capital of the Nabataean Kingdom and remains one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
- Enter the ancient city through the legendary Siq, a narrow and winding canyon framed by towering sandstone walls whose shifting colors and natural formations create a dramatic approach to Petra’s most celebrated monument, Al-Khazneh, known as the Treasury.
- Continue through the vast archaeological park, uncovering intricately carved façades, temples, tombs, ceremonial spaces, and remnants of the ancient city center that reveal the ingenuity of a sophisticated desert civilization that once controlled major regional trade routes.
- Admire Petra’s most memorable landmarks, including the Street of Façades, the ancient city center, and the magnificent Royal Tombs carved high into the surrounding cliffs, while enjoying panoramic views across the site’s extraordinary sandstone landscape.
- Pause for lunch at a local restaurant, with time to reflect on Petra’s scale, artistry, and historical importance before departing Wadi Musa and beginning the return journey toward the Israeli border.
- Cross back into Israel through the Yitzhak Rabin Border Crossing, completing the necessary passport and border procedures with assistance from the local team before continuing onward to Ramon Airport.
- Fly from Ramon Airport to Ben-Gurion International Airport, where you will connect with your international overnight flight home, carrying with you lasting memories of Israel, Petra, Wadi Rum, and the friendships strengthened throughout the journey.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on double occupancy room.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 65 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 65 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
