- Depart the US.
- Arrive at Ben-Gurion International Airport.
- Meet your J² Expert Educator who will accompany you on this journey of education and inspiration.
- Drive to Jerusalem and stop along the way for a moment of blessing and appreciation - shehehiyanu.
- Check into your Jerusalem hotel.
- Time to prepare for Shabbat. Shabbat Shalom.
- Kabbalat Shabbat services at Kehillat Kol Haneshema (pending confirmation).
- Home Hospitality Shabbat dinner/communal Shabbat dinner with local congregants OR festive Shabbat dinner at the hotel.
- Visit the newly redesigned Tower of David Museum and explore the city's history – from the time of Abraham to the end of the British Mandate over Palestine.
- Discover multiple faiths in the Old City, including the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher – sites venerated by Christians in connection with their traditions of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
- Walk through the Old City to the rooftops to take in the view of the Temple Mount, the Mosques and Shrines of the Haram Al-Sharif, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
- Continue to the Kotel (Western Wall), widely considered Judaism’s holiest site and the adjacent Ezrat Yisrael – the pluralistic prayer platform along the southern corner of the Western Wall. We’ll discuss the wall’s historical and contemporary importance and experience its unique atmosphere.
- Havdalah overlooking the Old City.
- Descend to the Dead Sea Basin and the Judaean Desert.
- Take the cable car to the top of Masada, where Jewish rebels are believed to have made their final attempt to resist Roman invaders (c 74 CE).
- Float into happiness on the Dead Sea where the feeling of weightlessness is great fun.
- Return to Jerusalem and stop at Mount Scopus to see the dramatic view onto both the desert and the Jerusalem vista including the Old City and the Temple Mount.
- Take time to rest and freshen up before heading out to the Mahane Yehuda Market.
- Meet with a leader from IRAC (Religious Action Center) to learn about social justice initiatives in Israel.
- The new Israel National Library provides the opportunity to understand centuries of Jewish creativity through one of the world's most impressive collections of Jewish and Israel-related literature. In addition, the library staff is dedicated to a national project documenting the events of October 7 2023.
- Drive through the Israeli “Capitol Hill”: along the Knesset – Israel’s Parliament and its famous Menorah, the Supreme Court building, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Israeli National Bank, and the Israel National Library.
- Visit Yad Vashem, the national memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust, an essential emotional and educational experience. Your tour will include:
- The Avenue of the Righteous, where trees symbolic of the renewal of life have been planted along with plaques honoring brave non-Jews who saved Jews during the Shoah.
- The Historical Museum, a state-of-the-art interactive display reflecting decades of research and educational expertise. The story of the Holocaust, with an emphasis on individual victims, is told through survivor testimonies, original artifacts, and personal possessions saved from the ghettos and camps.
- The Children's Memorial, commemorating the 1.5 million children lost during the Holocaust.
- Memorial service where we will pay tribute to those who were lost. It will include the opportunity to talk about family members and loved ones who died during the Shoah.
- Join Professor Reuven Hazan of the Political Science Department at Hebrew University for an introduction into Israel's turbulent political scene.
- Following checkout from your Jerusalem hotel, our journey will continue to the north of the Israel.
- Visit Sindyanna of Galilee, a non-profit organization that is creating economic opportunities for Arab women, one of Israel’s most underemployed sectors. Participate in a workshop and sample some of their award-winning olive oil.
- Visit the Hula Nature Reserve, home to thousands of storks, cranes, pelicans, and flamingos. Enjoy bike-riding and golf-carting.
- Check into your Galilee hotel. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.
- Beginning at Mount Bental, take a jeep ride through the Golan Heights with emphasis on the stories of security, defense, and pioneering along Israel's border with Syria.
- Visit the Odem winery for a tasting and wine and cheese appetizer.
- Enjoy a hike in the beautiful Tel Dan Nature Reserve.
- Stand on Israel's border with Lebanon to get an up-close overview of the conflict between Hizbullah and the State of Israel.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and a debrief.
- Check out from your hotel and travel to Tel Aviv.
- Stop at the Ancient Roman Aqueduct, located on the pristine beaches of Caesarea.
- Check out local murals and graffiti.
- Walk along the Independence Trail in Tel Aviv and embark on a remarkable journey that begins with the founding of Tel Aviv in 1909 and ends with the establishment of Israel in 1948.
- Check into your Tel Aviv hotel.
- Travel to the Israel-Gaza Border to contend with the events of October 7 and the Israel-Hamas War. Stop at a vantage point with your J² Expert Educator to get a sense of the timeline and geography.
- Visit the Nova site and pay our respects.
- Continue to Sderot to get a sense of the rebuilding of the Western Negev following the travails of the Israel-Hamas War.
- Visit the Black Arrow Monument, which honors Israeli soldiers who died during 1955’s Operation Black Arrow against Egyptian army posts in Gaza.
- Return to the hotel and prepare for Shabbat.
- Communal Shabbat Dinner at the hotelresturant.
- J² Salon Talk: Tel Aviv - The New Jewish Normal. You might have heard Tel Aviv described as a Mediterranean mini-Manhattan or the party capital of the Middle East. But we are going to explore and uncover – through music, art, texts, and sites – an alternative version of Tel Aviv that embodies a new expression of Jewish and Israeli identity.
- Experience the dynamism of Jewish life at the ANU Museum of the Jewish People, dedicated to telling their story and representing their diversity, highlighting the creative works and cultural riches of a variety of communities in different periods of history until the present day.
- Enjoy lunch (not included in package) at the Sarona Market, which was once a colony of Templars, German Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land, and is now a center of Tel Aviv cuisine.
- Explore the Old City of Jaffa and its port.
- Time to meet for Havdalah along the beach and share what you learned and what you are taking home.
- Late checkout and preparation for your departure.
- A farewell dinner to close the journey and raise one more toast together.
- Arrive in the US.

- 8 nights' accommodations. Late check out on the day of departure is included.
- 9 days of touring with a J² Expert Educator (guide) in a luxury, air-conditioned bus.
- Daily breakfast & 5 dinners.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
- Protect yourself from fraud by being cautious and vigilant when it comes to online theft. It is crucial to note that J² adventures will never send an email requesting you to transfer funds to a new account or to redirect a payment. We will never alter our account number or issue additional payment requests without first personally speaking to you and properly identifying ourselves. If you feel uncertain about any communication (scammers often impersonate legitimate companies via e-mail or by calling), halt and contact us directly through our toll-free number listed on our website to discuss any necessary payments. Refrain from responding to suspicious emails or clicking on links or attachments unless you are completely certain of their legitimacy. By following these guidelines and staying vigilant, you can significantly reduce your risk of becoming a victim of fraud.
