- Drive through the Israeli “Capitol Hill”: along the Knesset – Israel’s Parliament and its famous Menorah, the Supreme Court building, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Israeli National Bank. Tour the grounds of Israel’s “Capitol Hill”: The Knesset – Israel’s Parliament building and its famous Menorah – Israel’s symbol monument built from bronze.
- Explore the National Library of Israel.

Visit Mount Herzl, Israel's national cemetery. - Experience the sights, smells, and tastes of Jerusalem while walking through the Mahane Yehuda open-air market.
- Return to the hotel and prepare for Shabbat.
- Join congregation Kol Haneshama for Kabbalat Shabbat followed by a community Shabbat dinner.
- The Old City Ramparts: Stroll along the ancient outer walls for a bird's-eye view of the remarkably diverse yet closely bound communities of Jerusalem's Old City.
- Take a walking tour through Jerusalem's Old City and the Jewish Quarter and experience the center of Jewish life, history, and holiness.
- Take a climb to the rooftops to see and discuss the ties and tensions between the different faith groups and communities of the Old City. From this one spot, we'll look out over the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, venerated by Christian groups as the burial place of Jesus; the golden Dome of the Rock, which is sacred to Islam; and the Jewish Quarter's famous Hurva Synagogue.
- Walk the Cardo, the main street of Roman-controlled Jerusalem and its spectacular Byzantine-era columns.
- Visit Hurva Square, the center of modern-day life in the Jewish Quarter.
- View the Jerusalem Archeological Park's large-scale excavation that has uncovered vital parts of ancient Jerusalem.
- No visit to Israel is complete without experiencing the Kotel (Western Wall), widely considered Judaism's holiest site.
- Three Stars in the Israeli Sky: At nightfall, we will mark the end of a special Shabbat with a communal Havdalah ceremony.
- Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before setting out to explore the Dead Sea region.
- As Low as It Goes: We'll drive to the Dead Sea Basin, 1,412 feet below sea level and the lowest place on earth. The desert, the landscape, and the views are breathtaking.
- The Last Stand: Climb via the Snake Path OR via the Roman Ramp OR take the cable car to the top of Masada with its extraordinary views and fascinating archaeological remains. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is where Jewish rebels are believed to have made their final attempt to resist Roman invaders (c 74 CE).
- The Sea of Salt: Float into happiness at the Dead Sea. Not much can live or swim in what is the saltiest piece of water in the world, nine times saltier than the ocean, but the weightless feeling of floating is great fun.
- Return to Jerusalem and to the hotel.

- Visit Yad Vashem, the national memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust, an essential emotional and educational experience.
- Depart Jerusalem and head to the north.
- Visit Sindyanna of Galilee – a non-profit organization that is creating economic opportunities for Arab women, one of Israel’s most underemployed sectors – and sample some of their award-winning olive oil.

- Evening of reflection with your Expert Educator and tour leader.
- Enjoy Tsfat, where you will visit 16th-century synagogues and spend time in the artist's market.
- Visit the Hula Nature Reserve, home to thousands of storks, cranes, pelicans, and flamingos. Enjoy bike-riding and golf-carting.
- Watch the panoramic views from Mt. Bental (overlooking the abandoned Syrian town of Kuneitra) and gain sharp insights into Israel’s security situation on the Golan Heights and the enormous challenges it faced in the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
- Enjoy a wine tasting at the boutique Odem Winery.

- Depart toward the country's center.
- Drive along the coast and back in time to Caesarea, one of the Land of Israel's most important cities during the Roman Period. Explore life 2,000 years ago with its ancient theater, palace, and bathhouse. Stop at the Ancient Roman Aqueduct, located on the pristine beaches of Caesarea.
- Drive to Tel Aviv.
- Modern Tel Aviv grew out of ancient Jaffa. Gaze out over the Mediterranean Sea; learn why Jaffa, mentioned in the biblical story of Jonah and the Whale, is so historically important; and see how its Old City reflects the present as well as the past.
- Check into hotel.
- Experience the dynamism of Jewish life at the ANU Museum of the Jewish People, dedicated to telling their story and representing their diversity, highlighting the creative works and cultural riches of a variety of communities in different periods of history until the present day.
- Eat, drink, and learn at Levinsky Market, where we’ll sample food, sweets, and spices from all over the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
- Sharing the Burden: Cook for families where one of the parents were called to reserve duty, with Kehilat V'ahavta, led by Rabbi Rinat Tzfania.
- Depart for the Gaza Envelope.
- Visit the Black Arrow Monument, which honors Israeli soldiers who died during 1955’s Operation Black Arrow against Egyptian army posts in Gaza.
- Travel to the Israel-Gaza border to meet Chen Kotler, a resident of Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Learn with Chen about the events of October 7 and their aftermath.
- Head to the site of the Nova Festival massacre near Kibbutz Re'im.
- Return to Tel Aviv to prepare for Shabbat.
- Join Beit Tefilah Israeli for Kabbalat Shabbat.
- Enjoy Shabbat dinner at your hotel.
- End the day with a processing session led by your Expert Educator and tour leader.

- Walk along the newly-opened Independence Trail in Tel Aviv and embark on a remarkable journey that begins with the founding of Tel Aviv in 1909 and ends with the establishment of Israel in 1948.
- Visit the Tel Aviv Art Museum, an impressive collection of Israeli and international art. Check out their website to learn about new exhibitions. There is a garden coffee shop on site.
- Bring your support to Hostages Square and express your solidarity with all of Israel and ask what can be done to help.
- The red anemone flowers – Kalanyot – are a symbol of the Israeli south and a symbol of hope following October 7. Hear the story of a special project dedicated to "planting" ceramic anemone around the country in solidarity with the south, followed by a Havdalah ceremony.
- Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

- 10 days of touring with a J² Expert Educator (guide), 10 days of touring in a luxury, air-conditioned bus.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.
- For any assistance with this registration process or other trip-related queries, please email Customer Care: [email protected].
- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
- Protect yourself from fraud by being cautious and vigilant when it comes to online theft. It is crucial to note that J² adventures will never send an email requesting you to transfer funds to a new account or to redirect a payment. We will never alter our account number or issue additional payment requests without first personally speaking to you and properly identifying ourselves. If you feel uncertain about any communication (scammers often impersonate legitimate companies via e-mail or by calling), halt and contact us directly through our toll-free number listed on our website to discuss any necessary payments. Refrain from responding to suspicious emails or clicking on links or attachments unless you are completely certain of their legitimacy. By following these guidelines and staying vigilant, you can significantly reduce your risk of becoming a victim of fraud.
