- Arrive at Ben-Gurion International Airport.
- Meet your J² Expert Educator who will accompany you on this journey of education and inspiration.
- Stop at the Haas Promenade for a traditional shehehiyanu blessing of thanksgiving.
- Check into the hotel.
- Israel 101 – Welcome dinner and orientation.
- Depart the hotel early and head to the Old City for a group celebration.
- Going Under, Going Deeper: Explore the Western Wall Tunnel, the underground continuation of the Kotel, and examine important archaeological discoveries that are revising our understanding of daily life in ancient Jerusalem.
- Bnai Mitzvah ceremony at the pluralistic prayer area along the Western Wall - Azarat Yisrael. Mazel tov!
- Take a walking tour through Jerusalem's Old City and the Jewish Quarter and experience the center of Jewish life, history, and holiness. Among the highlights will be:
- The Cardo, the main street of Roman-controlled Jerusalem and its spectacular Byzantine-era columns.
- King Hezekiah's "Broad Wall," a massive wall built to protect Jerusalem from invasion 2,700 years ago.
- Hurva Square, the center of modern-day life in the Jewish Quarter.
- Adults & Youth (over the age of 12) :
- Visit Yad Vashem, the national memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust, an essential emotional and educational experience. Your guided tour will include:
- The Avenue of the Righteous, where trees symbolic of the renewal of life have been planted along with plaques honoring brave non-Jews who saved Jews during the Shoah.
- The Historical Museum, a state-of-the-art interactive display reflecting decades of research and educational expertise. The story of the Holocaust, with an emphasis on individual victims, is told through survivor testimonies, original artifacts, and personal possessions saved from the ghettos and camps.
- The Children’s Memorial, commemorating the 1.5 million children perished during the Holocaust.
- Children (under the age of 12):
- Explore the wonderfully creative Israel Museum, housing more than 5,000 years of cultural treasures.
- Children: Take part in an interactive archeological dig geared to all ages at the Beit Guvrin Caves.
- Adults: Meet with a resident of Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Walk with her through her community today as she shares the stories of this once-vibrant home, what happened there on October 7, and what her hopes are for the future.
- All: Travel through the Valley of Elah, site of the biblical battle between David and Goliath.
- Return to the hotel to freshen up before Shabbat.
- The City of Shabbat: Join Jerusalem in welcoming the Sabbath, the high point of the Jewish week, with Kabbalat Shabbat services.
- Festive Shabbat dinner at the hotel.
- Shabbat services at a local synagogue.
- Lunch at the hotel.
- Yemin Moshe and Mishkenot Sha'ananim: Get to know the great banker and philanthropist Sir Moses Montefiore as you explore the pastoral neighborhoods, famous windmill and the artists’ colony that he developed and which transformed Jerusalem in the nineteenth century.
- En route, view two of modern Jerusalem’s most storied and important landmarks: the King David Hotel and the YMCA building.
- Havdalah overlooking the Old City.
- Descend to the Dead Sea Basin.
- Take the cable car to the top of Masada, where Jewish rebels are believed to have made their final attempt to resist Roman invaders (c 74 CE).
- Float into happiness on the Dead Sea where the feeling of weightlessness is great fun.
- In Genesis Land:
- Ride a camel into the heart of the desert and bake pita.
- Enjoy hospitality in a desert tent and share a traditional “hafla” dinner.
- Return to Jerusalem.
- Check out of the hotel.
- Visit the Hula Nature Reserve, home to thousands of storks, cranes, pelicans, and flamingos. Enjoy bike-riding and golf-carting.
- Spend time in Tsfat, where you will:
- Meet with David Friedman, a Tsfat artist inspired by Kabbalah.
- Visit the Ari Synagogue and the Caro Synagogue, both built originally in the 16th century.
- Walk through the Artists’ Colony.
- Check into the hotel, followed by dinner.
- Go for a jeep tour of the Golan Heights.
- Paradise Springs is one of the places we'll visit at the Tel Dan Nature Reserve. We'll tour the remains of a 5,000-year-old city and find out why water is like gold in the parched Middle East.
- Option 1: Visit the Odem Mountain Winery at the foot of Mt. Hermon on the Golan Heights for wine tasting.
- Option 2: Jewish tradition calls on us to act ethically and sensitively to the animals who have been abused and to educate all of us about our treatment of our fellow creatures. Visit the Odem Freedom Farm Sanctuary, which was created out of a vision shared by hundreds of thousands of Israelis who wish to change the way humans view, treat, and respect animals. Participate in a hands-on encounter with the animal residents of the farm including horses, pigs, birds, and even wolves.
- Join an Israeli Arab family at their home to talk, over tea and coffee, about their lives and to join them for a GalilEat cooking workshop, followed by a traditional dinner and knafeh workshop.
- Check out of the hotel and depart along the coast.
- Visit Kfar Kedem in the Galilee for a hands-on family experience, exploring Jewish life of 2,000 years ago, including donkey rides, costumes, and pita baking.
- Continue to the Yemin Orde Youth Village, which houses and educates over 500 youth from across the globe.
- Drive by Zichron Ya’acov and hear the story of how a place that was initially a malaria and poverty-stricken village is today a picturesque center of wineries, eateries, and art.
- Enter Tel Aviv and check into the hotel.
- Visit the Ayalon Institute near Rehovot and its secret ammunition factory.
- The streets can talk. Check out local murals, graffiti, and street art. Explore how art speaks to the issues and challenges facing Israel today.
- Lunch on own at the Carmel Market, a vibrant marketplace where traders sell everything from clothing and spices, to fruit and electronics.
- Experience the dynamism of Jewish life at the ANU Museum of the Jewish People, dedicated to telling their story and representing their diversity, highlighting the creative works and cultural riches of a variety of communities in different periods of history until the present day.

What to expect
- 8 nights' accommodations. Late check out until 6:00 p.m. on the day of departure is included.
- 9 days of touring with a J² Expert Educator (guide), 8 days of touring in a luxury, air-conditioned bus.
- Daily breakfast, 1 lunch & 6 dinners.

- Value Added Tax is currently not applicable to tourists visiting Israel. Should the law change, you will be notified accordingly, and VAT will be added to your final invoice.

- Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
- How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.

- Payments | The balance of your payment is due 90 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder 2 weeks before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
- Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
- Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
- J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
- Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 90 or more days prior to departure incur the loss of the deposit. Cancelations made 89 to 46 days prior to departure incur the loss of 50% of the full trip cost. Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
- Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
- Protect yourself from fraud by being cautious and vigilant when it comes to online theft. It is crucial to note that J² adventures will never send an email requesting you to transfer funds to a new account or to redirect a payment. We will never alter our account number or issue additional payment requests without first personally speaking to you and properly identifying ourselves. If you feel uncertain about any communication (scammers often impersonate legitimate companies via e-mail or by calling), halt and contact us directly through our toll-free number listed on our website to discuss any necessary payments. Refrain from responding to suspicious emails or clicking on links or attachments unless you are completely certain of their legitimacy. By following these guidelines and staying vigilant, you can significantly reduce your risk of becoming a victim of fraud.
